Hmm... Probably should move the previous chapters somewhere. So anyway, now that we've reached this part of the Ioria arc, I should mention a few of my set in stone plans: - The magnificent Seven (Plus Verne and Mark, Minus Kyle) will survive the arc (well, technically I don't have any plans for Judgement/Ruin, still on the fence on what to do with him). They'll be bringing along Naia and Grogan and Rynn's newborn, as well as all the Artifacts of Io. At the moment, they're worthless. - Halo will survive as well, and join the group (reluctantly) - That shield Halo stole? Yeah, that's not the Aegis. The artifacts are Hunt (Kaliska's necklace), Wisdom (Devon's staff), Wrath (Iras' claws), and Aegis (the old fur cloak Halo threw away) - They'll retreat to a random location, haven't decided whether to a new dimension or old. - The Sea Lords god is the Eternal Eye that tried to recruit Cata. It's true form is a many tentacled massive kraken, with the ability to induce bloodlust on sentient creatures, as well as the power to create storms and manipulate the sea. - Kuzuryu is a secret agent of the World Court. The World Court sent him to monitor Grogan's invasion due to Michaella's presence, the World Court has had enough of the pirates and Grogan embarassing them with their antics, so they decided to get rid of them both. General Morgan knows nothing about this, while the mercenaries are under Kuzuryu's pay. - Valeria will nearly kill Grogan, but Kuzuryu will be the one to kill him, depriving her of her revenge. - Rynn will give birth to the new Priest of Io an die. At this point, the artifacts become active again, but only for the Guardians. - The two EEs are gonna battle it out, but the Grand Inquisitor will ultimately lose. The party will at least take down the Kraken and Oracle form, before a much stronger EE crashes the scene - Sea Lords, Elite Guardians, and mercenaries can drop like flies (after the above events, at least), though I have plans of Halo killing Arok, and Gilang to last until the end. - the stronger EE is the interdimensional conquering Lich. As it appears, it immediately uses an Artifact called the Unholy Breath to kill everything on the continent, but a hastily made barrier protects the party and a dying Gilang. The party retreats using Reid's Particle Accelerator, but Kyle sacrificed himself to prevent the UH's second use. - the next time they come here, it's the new base of operations of the Lich, and the world is now an undead place.
