I've only just started watching these things, but the Zelda (LttP) one I watched just now was hilarious. Terrible framerate on the video, LPer wittering on about unrelated crap while being amazingly bad at the game, and spending a minute trying to make it look like Link was humping Zelda. All with hilarious commentary.

Ah yeah. This and the other early ALttP RP cracks me up. This one is great and the other one...man, the fact that they could do those voices the entire time just makes me laugh. Those two are really good for the beginning stuff.

Need to catch up on COBRA.

I'm not really sure how to rank WarioWare games. They are all, more or less, kind of equal in quality. Touched, I think, was a bit too simple for me. The final boss, in particular, was really lacking compared to Wario's Adventure and the dancing game in Twisted. I don't like Smooth Moves as much, due to some of the changes. Like when you play in the gallery or something, you can only play a microgame 3 times, once in each difficulty and that's it.

1. Did anybody else correctly guess that Santa was Zero's assistant and that June was Zero before beginning the true ending? I want to know how much I should temporarily inflate my ego.

Well, I got the Coffin Ending first, so I saw that whole thing with Santa having a gun and holding June hostage without knowing any of the other stuff. So yes, I had a very negative opinion of Santa and for a long time, I felt he was Zero. After the Safe Ending, I think I figured out that June was most likely to be Zero due to process of elimination and because of the remark on how Zero "lost".

2. Did anybody put as much time and thought into coming up with various theories? Some people here said that they either did minimal analysis work or just let the game do its thing and it feed them the truth eventually so I just want to know who else approached the game similarly to me.

I did SOME analysis. Not minimal, but not nearly to your extent. I did not expect the whole "Guy X" thing at all. I kind of didn't think Ace was the one who killed Guy X and all that. Safe Ending as a whole just COMPLETELY threw me for a loop.

Also, I remember being really confused for what the 9th Man said about being lied to for a very long time. Also, Guy X, Captain, and 9th Man being a part of Cradle Pharmaceutical...I somehow didn't see that one coming.

Also, screw it. I really loved the True Ending, as silly as it is. The Sudoku puzzle literally made me go ".....Really" and love it at the same time. Dat music. And I just really liked the whole incinerator scene. Sure, it's nonsensical, but I just really liked the scenes it gave and what not. Plus, dat library. That said, Safe Ending is probably the best ending and I really, really enjoyed it, but I still think the True Ending is really good. But I do understand why people wouldn't like it.

I suggest you check out the interview with the developer. It's on the official 999 website, under "Answers" or something.

Diabetus for me. Too awesome. Proteus is great, though. I like Slowbeef, but he just isn't up to par as Diabetus and Proteus. Though, a Retsupurae without Slowbeef just feels really odd. Except Let's Read Survival Kids. So good.

Cornshaq baby please is probably the best standalone video. Hell, possibly the best Retsupurae period. Other great ones is, of course, both ElectricalBeast videos, BillyMC's Christmas Adventure, Wait for it..., and "wario".

For the longer series, like Retsufrashes and Rongpuraes, uh.

Also, really good thoughts. This is pretty entertaining to read. I personally found Junpei to be a pretty good protagonist. He doesn't have the intrigue that the other characters have, but I like that about him. Plus, he has some great lines. Dat Junpei/June conversation about "Being afraid to be alone with a boy". So good.

I thought it was an okay episode. Everyone was a little jerkish, but oh well. I personally thought MDW was Pinkie the whole time. As for the horn and the wings...well...Pinkie can probably find some way to use that...somehow.

What I really like is this season's obsession with sunglasses. Top tier addition imho.

Casey is definitely pretty great. Better than Nic Cage though?

As for other characters? Davesprite, Bro, and Dad are all top tier. I loved Dream Jade, but Jadesprite's one of the few characters I don't like. Spades Slick and Diamonds Droogs are both great characters, too. WV and Serenity are also both pretty amazing.

Yeah, I can't see how anyone can not have Eridan or Feferi as last. Eridan has that going against him and Feferi is just...well. She's not interesting enough and she doesn't have any moments like the other characters.

I've specifically avoided the community until now to prevent any spoilers given how far behind everyone I was, so I have very little idea of what is generally liked.

Hmm. General fandom says that Dave is the top kid, Jade is probably the bottom kid, and the top trolls are Vriska, Karkat, and Terezi. Also, bottom tier trolls are Eridan and Gamzee.

but then again, general fandom is really silly

But yeah, what I do agree on is that pretty much all characters are likable.

honestly, homestuck picks up at around the first Strife for me.

and for most people, it picks up once Sburb gets going, which is before the end of Act 1 and honestly not that far into the webcomic.
