I have heard people get bored at Act 3, especially during Jade antics. But if you're bored at the other stuff aside from Jade, then yeah, lost cause. Especially after the ending flash of Act 3.

Also, Intermission has some great moments! Pretty slow at first, though. Diamonds Droogs, too good.

Eridan Ampora - Wow, Eridan as a 3 seed. Only on B8! Thankfully, I love Eridan. He's one of the funniest trolls, has a wonderful design, and generally has some great moments in his trollogs. There's no real deep reason why I like Eridan. He's just good overall.

Now don't get me wrong, there are certainly games where 100%ing it is very appealing. The DKC games immediately come to mind, as does SMW (Unless you count getting all 5 Dragon Coins in every stage as 100%ing it). I just feel like in most games, trying to find everything often comes off as really tedious and boring. And there's really not much to gain from it. In games where you collect a bunch of stuff (Like the blast shards in inFamous), it's not like the majority of the blast shards are in interesting places that are a challenge to get. It's just...search the open world and find things. I dunno, that's not fun to me. Games where I feel urged to complete it are where I get a reward for doing so or it's genuinely interesting to try and find the things I'm collecting. Arkham Asylum/City did this very well and so did Outland. Punch-Out!! on Wii had a pretty great idea, but it ended up being waay too hard for me.

I'm not really much of an Achievement person either, especially since a lot of Achievements are kind of trivial, like "Beat the game on normal! Now beat the game on Hard!" or "Run a total of 100 miles in-game!" or something. It really feels like it's prolonging the game in an uninteresting way. A game where I felt Achievements were done very well in was Mega Man 10, where the challenges were actually really difficult and there was a sort of accomplishment in getting those achievements.

So why exactly do you completionists enjoy completing a game?

Jade Harley - I actually like Jade. She's pretty amusing and has some good moments, it's just that the other three kids are so good. Feferi is the only boring main character, really.
Jane Crocker - I feel like Hussie has no idea what to do with Sollux. Sollux is just not going...anywhere, in terms of plot. Jane's doing okay.

I liked Act 1 since I got to the first STRIFE! And then it kind of went "Eh" after that until John started up Sburb. Then it kept getting consistently good. So yeah, usually, people will start to like it once Sburb begins. The other really high point early on is when Dave is introduced, because it's f***ing Dave.

Oh boy, Ace Attorney moments. Let's do this.

Favorite moment in PW1? Well, I was going to make a list of my Top 20 PW Moments soon, so let's not spoil that! But I do agree that the moment you listed is definitely an A+ moment. So good. It hit that perfect balance of humor and seriousness that Phoenix Wright does so well at.

And Godot has so many good lines and all of his sprites are just so good. My favorite Godot moment is...well. Probably the 3-5 ending. But really, Godot is kind of a character that doesn't have any BIG moments, but is just always consistently good and well-done.

Twilight is terrible. She does nothing for me. She's not interesting enough, she doesn't get any really great lines, and she just seems too bland overall. I guess she has to be the main character, but I just do not care for Twilight at all. Fluttershy's kind of the same, but I kind of figured everyone who really likes her mainly likes her because she's cute and shy. And those qualities just do NOT appeal to me at all. She does have some good moments, though, I admit.

Rarity has pretty much a perfect track record for episodes. All her episodes are pretty interesting and I like them quite a lot. For a character that has a REALLY flat premise, there's surprisingly a lot to work with her. Plus, amazing voice acting and I think she's well-written, especially in her central episodes.

Meryl ending isn't too hard to get. Anyways, MGS2 is my favorite and I know it's kind of an unpopular opinion. I feel the gameplay and controls are REALLY smooth and fluid. MGS1, while it's not terrible as some people think, isn't exactly fluid. MGS3's a bit too clunky due to backpack and camo. I really do not like MGS4's gameplay, it feels way too over the place and there's way too little of it. MGS2 is just very smooth and I felt very "in-control". Plus, I just really like a lot of the easter eggs and just being able to mess around with the Big Shell. And flying cartwheels, man, totally more stylish than rolling.

Gotta say that I really loved the plot and Arsenal Gear, but I could very easily see why others wouldn't like it. MGS1 and MGS3 kind of tie for second, constantly flipping back and forth. I think right now, I have it as MGS2 > MGS1 > MGS3 >>>> MGS4.

Konishi as best. Really. Konishi is lame, I didn't care for her at all. Sho is pretty great, but I liked Joshua by far. Another Day Joshua, hell, all the Another Day characters pretty much beat everyone in the main game.

Whattttt, Beat is awesome. He has a weird fighting system, but when it works, it works. I think I took off, like, half of a boss's health with a long combo. It's just really hard to do. Joshua is much safer, so I tend to use him more.

I kind of see where Leon gets at. I rarely use items in most games and I don't really enjoy limited inventories. But I didn't really find it that big of a complaint. I just toss items away to make space for mushrooms and syrups. Also, I got around 34 or 35 hours for Paper Mario.

I dunno, I didn't like BIS that much. I liked it, but it just felt...very odd to me. I liked the game, but I wasn't crazy about it, like the Paper Marios, SSS (though, SSS holds a special place in my heart), and SMRPG.

SPM was pretty good. It just didn't have the same...I dunno...depth as PM and TTYD? I don't really know what it is. Partners are ehhh, but you get Bowser, Luigi, and I guess Peach. The personality is still there and there is still good music and everything. I guess it just felt really "going through the motions". SPM is still good, I'd probably place it on the same level as BIS or something.

The General White part is pretty ehhhh. It's not so bad in Metroidvania, since you're so overpowered that you could easily blow through it. Most of the time, you don't even have to fight.

Grodus is alright. Crump is pretty great, though.

6 > 3 > 7 > 5 > 1 > 8 > 4 > 2

I really like 4 because of Doopliss and it's pretty clever, but that backtracking is sooooooooo bad. 6 and 3 are both really good and creative. 7 is just fun and just a great place.

TTYD is amazing, but I think PM1 is better. Both are amazing, amazing games, though.

For those who don't know what Dangan Ronpa is, it's basically a Japanese-only game about 15 talented high school students (well 14 talented and the main character) who are trapped in a high school. They are stuck there with a homicidal teddy bear and the only way they can escape is to murder someone and have no one find out. It's a very good read and it's interesting.

Press everything, present everything. Though I rarely intentionally provide wrong evidence or choose game-ending decisions, since most of them are just "Duh, Phoenix, that's the wrong answer. GUILTY"

Yeah, but there's always unique answers when someone asks for evidence. In fact, sometimes, you even get specific answers if you present a certain piece of evidence.

Crying Wolf is pretty fun if you use your Solid Eye to follow her footprints and keep chasing her down, in my opinion. More intense than just waiting for her to show up and snipe her.

I think I remember this, but I just remember the hour fight being 45 minutes of fighting FROGs and then 15 minutes of walking around, trying to find Crying Wolf. I was so ready to call this the worst boss fight in MGS by far, until people started saying "Wow, Crying Wolf was a pretty great sniping battle!". Then I went "...It was supposed to be a SNIPING fight?"
