They have a bill for the game on the credit card they used to pay it online, yes. But basically it works like this:

1) Buy a physical copy of the game online, wait 3~ days for shipping and then start playing.

2) Buy a digital copy of the game, wait 3~ days for verication, but you can start playing act 1 content immediately.

Granted you can hit level 13 and kill the skeleton king in a matter of HOURS, but it does give you time to fully download the game (5 gigs? Which could take awhile for some connections) and at least try out the variety of classes to some extent before the rest of the game is ready. Which is more than you would do buying a physical copy that had to be shipped.

why would anybody -ever- buy a physical copy of a PC game online

oh man all the stuff they're adding to Skullgirls training mode is awesome

literally going from having the least features to having the most features of any game I can think of

what should they be for, then? The worst is when games have achievements for doing things that are already required to beat the game

Keep in mind that in the initial letter he gave, if you read it, yes, he DID use an ASCII of a Pterodactyl as some kind of evidence. Of what I'm not sure. I don't know if anyone knows truly what that was about, used in reference of, or served any purpose beyond having an ASCII of a Pterodactyl inside a legal document.

He used it as evidence that Inman was not taking any of this seriously and that it was all a joke to him, because that ASCII is found in the page source for his original FunnyJunk complaint.

Did you use the Save Crystal to save somewhere in the Crater?

I'm pretty sure there's a glitch that causes your file to erase if you save in a certain room in there

Hope he'll still be involved in the community somehow, and I actually hope he'll still be in the industry somewhere too. He definitely did a lot to help bring fighting games to where they are now.
