Poor roddick indeed, but the Cilic v Querrey match has been absolutely nuts.

Such an incredibly clutch break-back down 5-6 in the 5th set by Querrey. About to be 7-7 with no end in sight. Breaks have been few and far between throughout the entire match..

And now down a break in the 3rd. This is not good. He's still got 2 chances for the break back, but he isn't looking nearly as confident as he was earlier.

Honestly I'm just pleased that Roddick was able to get back on serve and play to a tiebreak after falling back 0-3 to start that set. As long as he keeps his head I think he'll be fine, he has honestly been outplaying Ferrer for the most part.

It isn't just that roddick is playing with more authority than usual, he's making some very smart plays. He's changing direction constantly and it Ferrer seems taken off balance a lot by it.


But definitely the serve and volley style is proving extremely effective.

I cannot imagine any form of technology that could provide anywhere near the amount of sustaining energy it would take to survive.


Honestly I think the best bet for outlasting the sun would involve some kind perfectly sealed off environment. Like some sort of thick steel dome the size of a very small village. And what like enough stored energy to power the environment for as long as it would last?

Would that work? Would a perfectly sealed dome be able to trap in the heat and protect it from the harsh chill of a world unaided by sunlight?

And even then it's a temporary fix.




But as for the state of the world? I think "completely shot to hell" would just about describe it. Complete and utter chaos.

Act 1 may be faster but with ponies you don't have to deal with getting a metric ton of non 60 items in addition to the 61-63 gear.

As long as you can actually clear the elites then you are basically looking at 4-6 extra elite groups to get an automatic rare or three from. We're still going to clear Warden and Butcher mind you, but it's just going to be a quick rush to 5 stacks and boss clear instead of ferreting elite groups out of every nook and cranny.

I didn't really get anything amazing during my runs today, but I was very happy to learn that red/chris and I are capable of running inferno ponies again which we were not able to effectively do after they removed the pony traps.

It's nice that they made act 1 so much friendly in terms of drops, but actually being able to get 5 stacks and kill pony groups will still result in the most potential for awesome gear ^_^
