If you don't get Mordin to sing in ME2, he doesn't sing during his sacrifice.
Part of me likes the singing better, but I could go either way with it.
Weird. He didn't sing for me in ME2 and yet he still sang a few bars of his song in ME3. It could be a different criteria, like not having an import file at all.

I'd agree with most of that, except I do like Solidus as a character. And while I like The Boss I'm not as big on her as everyone else seems to be. Not over Ocelot and Liquid!

I remember voting in that thing a few days ago. Round 2 maybe? I'm not sure. Regardless, can't get to it now!
Also I wonder if his plug for Gunnerkrigg has anything to do with the fact that Tom Siddell recently quit his job and is making the transition to being supported entirely by his comic. <_< Homestuck IS the world's most elaborate t-shirt marketing ploy, after all. Can't hurt to send some of that magic Tom's way.
But yeah people should read Gunnerkrigg if they haven't already, it's excellent aside from the pacing. Just ignore the...kinda bad artwork in the first Treatise. Later on the artwork gets incredibly good.
Oh, New Deadwardians comes out tomorrow. I'm looking forward to that, it sounded like an interesting premise even though it's another zombie/vampire story.
I might look into the other new Vertigo books too. I think Paul Cornell had one.
Well you don't have to recruit all of the characters, just the required amount until the game lets you proceed to the next plot mission (Horizon, Collector Ship, Reaper IFF, ending). And in some cases, Loyalty and N7 missions also count towards that mission goal. So if you don't HAVE to do all the recruitment missions, doesn't that make them sidequests too?
So suddenly ME2 is a game made almost entirely of sidequests and it's an argument of semantics. <_<
Personally I considered Loyalty and Recruit missions to be the "main plot."

I thought it was just a computer. At any rate, the exile terminals weren't capable of communicating with the players directly. It was just weird subliminal suggestions with some weird exceptions. Nothing like chatlogs.
And I thought they made reference to not being on the same world as them at some point. Unless they don't know that, but that seems like a twist unlike Homestuck.
They could be part of a universe that the kids and trolls will make later, where the troll race gets revived.
There's some evidence that might point to that. UU refers to the kids as sort of mythological/legendary figures for one. And she calls herself a "historian" at one point IIRC.
To me that implies that UU/uu will be part of the "revived" troll race. Barring Scratch shenanigans....but I still highly doubt that they're A1 trolls.
From: KamikazePotato | #023 I'm actually enjoying the story more than other Tales games, but that's mostly a 'by default' thing. ToS' story can get really silly, Vesperia barely has a story, and Abyss' story is abysmal. Graces' just seems more grounded in general.
Dunno where you are, but I thought Graces's plot was pretty grounded too until I got to Wallbridge.
Now I'm not sure where the hell the story is going.
AG: 8ut even so, when it comes to your key decisions, the possi8ilities are pro8a8ly fewer and more discrete than you have presumed. ... AG: Imagine if at that moment you truly were capa8le of anything, no matter how outlandish, a8surd, or patently fruitless. How would this vast amount of information present itself to you through your senses? What difference would it make in your final decision if all other tri8utaries of whim spilled into the same decaying future?
sounds like Mass Effect 3 DOHOHOHOHO ... expositionstuck.

I'm on Hard but just unlocked Evil. I'm thinking of switching over but the boss I just fought was crazy hard on Evil (one-shotting my party members) so I'm back on Hard. Meanwhile normal enemy encounters are pushovers on both difficulties. :\
I really like how you actually get bonuses for playing on higher difficulties.
I loved Rita! The problem I guess is that Pascal is literally Rita but instead of being snarky and abusive she's just....random. Much more hit-or-miss, though she might grow on me.
All I know for sure is that I'm really awful with her in battle. Though maybe it's due to me playing on Hard and her sickeningly low HP.

Actually now that I think about it, I remember that there were some fans complaining about how Xillia was "gimped" for a potential rerelease but I don't recall what the reasons were. Didn't really follow Xillia much at all.
I don't dislike Jade, she has some funny actions and has done some cool plot things with her powers and stuff, but it's just as a character she never interested me as much. I'd maybe put her above Rose who kind of became a plot robot but Rose at her best and snarkiest is just too good.

To be fair most of the characters in Homestuck have had first impressions that were pretty good or at least interesting. Except for maybe....Jade. and oh look who's the lamest (personality wise) of the first four kids
But actually to be completely honest I'm just wary of another big exposition drop and reading the last part of the conversation made me think that's where it looked like things are going.
From: PartOfYourWorld | #133 I think Liara might have some tender moments with Shep whether or not she's a romance option, but I always romance her so I'm not sure.
Yes, to the point where during a certain scene, Shepard will think about Liara over certain other characters, even if you romanced someone else!
I did Liara in all three games. Although I also romanced Tali initially in ME2, I romanced Liara though DLC and then "broke up" with Tali so when I imported the save it said I apparently didn't romance anyone in ME2. This is despite the fact that I got the romance scene with Tali before they go through the Omega-4 relay in ME2, and Liara's in the postgame.
So yeah, I didn't even get any dialog between Shepard and Tali in ME3 about that.
Not that I want to get into a ME shipping discussion, Shepard/Tali always struck me as an odd pair just because Shepard is the manliest guy in the universe and Tali is essentially a space schoolgirl. Not to mention the whole thing manages to be the corniest thing in the series which is pretty damn impressive.
Basically, gunsandtali.jpg
The Garrus and Tali scene works on so many levels but it's mostly just because both of them are awkward as hell.
Yeah you have to be more specific when talking about Facebook changes since they never change things for everyone at once. I still have the "normal" news feed with the dumb ticker.
I do like how you can pretty much tell exactly who the villain is in ToV and ToG:F (well I'm not completely sure but I ASSUME it's that guy) just by watching the OP.
I don't remember TotA's being that bad though. It shows some scenes but you can only tell what they are if you already know them. I remember the anime OP being a bit more blatant with them.

From: FFDragon | #062 No one even bats an eye at that kid desperately trying to scramble into that escape ship. Kid's not real.
It's really funny how the indoctrination theory makes some of the bad writing actually make sense. Not just this, but especially the later parts towards the end.
It's been pointed out constantly but I don't think I'll ever get over how crazy that is.

Yeah but Meenah at least matched what we would expect from an alternate Condesce. Though thinking about it, Aranea sort of meshes with the writing style of Mindfang's journals, just not as badass.
Also, Vriska's reaction to getting blown up is amazing.

Response (probably response of fanbase as a whole)
You know some of that is cool except for the main character being the Catalyst and the "hurr evil synthetics" plotline
...
okay most of it is pretty bad except for Elcor and Hanar squadmates and Volus antagonist/squadmate, but that pretty much confirms it as fake because Bioware would never do something that awesome or silly
