I think KoA is at an 83 on Metacritic after a bunch of reviews. Looks decent - seems like the main complaint is how generic it seems. To me it was fine during the demo. Noticeably derivative, though I like this type of game so it's fine to me. The combo system is definitely deeper than anything else in the genre, though on normal you can spam attack/basic combo through most battles.

some weapons and armor, or something like that. GS has an extra fate card, and I think Amazon has an item that shows reagents on the mini-map. newegg has the game for $45 but no extras. TRU the same, I think. they're doing an online pass for a few quests, so if you get it used, you might be locked out of some content.

And then you know they will give away some of the good matches away on RAW in the near future. There's nothing really "can't miss" about most PPVs. Instead, they are fun to watch, have some awesome matches here and there, but not worth the dough. I buy two PPVs a year - RR and WM. Every other year (give or take) there will be something else they sell me on, like TLC last year. $55 is a lot of money for 2.5-3 hours, especially when it's every month and very little ends up being "can't miss". I think 20-25 a month and I would potentially buy an additional 6 (or so).

To those saying it's a bad idea, it's not the first time something like this has happened. Back in the first NCAA games contest, there was a rally of votes that helped FF Tactics crush SSB Melee from people who had never voted in any of the previous matches. Instead of FFT advancing, the tournament hosts removed all of the obvious rally votes (mine included) and SSBM went on to not only win that match, but the entire tournament as well. Also, bump.
