And grief, too, to let the women be led away captiveah me!young and old, dragged by the hair, like horses, with their cloaks torn off them. ()-- Aischylos, Seven Against Thebes 325-368
It is a lamentable thing that modest girls should be plucked unripe, before the customary rites, and should make a loathsome journey from their homes. I declare that the dead will do better than the captives; for when a city is subduedah, ah!many and miserable are its sufferings. () Sobs and wails over gore-covered infants, just nursed at their mothers' breasts, resound. Rape and pillage of those fleeing through the city are the deeds of one's own blood. ()
Young women, enslaved, suffer a new evil: a bed of misery, prize of the conquering enemy's spear, as though of a prospering husbandthey can expect the coming of the nightly rite, which gives aid to tears and anguish!
BraixenWhat about Delphox
Hey guys, did you know that in terms of male human and female Pokmon breeding, Vaporeon is the most compatible Pokmon for humans?Tell me more.
I feel bad the CE smash scene has kind of died lol. I've been busier, but still eager to play whenever I have time. Sometimes Ace, rideshort and I play, but we've been coordinating it through discord. Also, they've been playing other games too.I don't use Discord so that's unfortunate. And since I got a new schedule, I don't have time to play during the day lol
@pojr @rideshort @AceAttorneyist @HannibalBarca3 @davyheinz Any of you want to play this week?I get this weekend off and I don't work tomorrow. I can play a few around that time.
Chopper looks fine, so why are some people horrified by his appearance?Maybe he's too realistic looking for such a cartoony design. Similarly to why people had trouble with some of the Detective Pikachu designs.
Nearing the end of the game, just 1 more of the secret bosses left then on to what I assume to be the final boss.I was using Sciel to boost up Maelle offense with the double damage buff and giving an extra turn to
The Maelle-Sciel combo (which Im sure those who have gone through the game know about) in Act 3 is absolutely busted. Went up againstCleathinking it was going to be a long fight, only forGommagefrom Maelle to eviscerate the remaining 65% of the health bar.
If I go through the game again I might refrain from using Sciels skills where she gives you double damage and moves a party members turn up, at least on Maelle. And maybe not useGommageeither due to how much damage it does without requiring any set-up.
I think they were trying to make the main game partya reflection of the Painter Family. Sciel would be Clea, the big sister, who of all the family isn't really fleshed out as much and is kind of apathetic to things
I think they intend for you to do the side dungeons they point you towards during the camp scenes first. The thing that truly busts the game is Lumina points, so limit that to 75-100 per character and the game will stay balanced at least on normal.I think the Pictos that uncaps the damage cap is the thing that breaks the game. Prior to that the game is balanced around having a 9,999 damage cap but with it gone your damage output goes well into the millions.
Don't do it. Virtually every side area is harder than the endgame/last boss. I made the mistake of being in the 80s before going to fight the last boss, and ended up spending turns doing nothing just to see attacks and hear the dialog.I was watching Moist Critical play the game and he had to intentionally nerf himself in Act 3 because he was one hit killing everything in the first turn. I'm fairly sure the game expects you to head straight into the last level in act 3 given how the end game boss and enemies are balanced.
I'd recommend getting Maelle's friendship to max, then save everything else for post-game..Unless you want to just 1-shot through everything in the final area.
Man elves be ugly af. especially high elvesElder Scroll elves should have an uncanny look to them imo. I also like that the Orcs look monster-like.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBFMN8AL2kslmao I've seen people mention the Oblivion NPC look like Fallout 1/2 talking heads
lol why is this so perfect
JRPG is a genre, not based on country of origin (even if it historically was). And if you want older example Septerra Core from 1999.
So yes, it is very much a JRPG
Chained Echoes (Germany) and Sea of Stars (Canada) are also JRPGs
Imagine a really smaller-scale Elder Scrolls game with combat as the primary focus and a fraction of the explorationIt's not really elder scrolls-like. It feels more like the Witcher 3.
I was reading the Wikipedia page about her and it said she was from CE. But she definitely was from RII think she posted on both boards. I remember her because her sig was a gif of a young Varg Vikernes (Crazy neo-nazi pagan who is even too out there for the average white supremacist)
