For those who come after.I came after
I think they intend for you to do the side dungeons they point you towards during the camp scenes first. The thing that truly busts the game is Lumina points, so limit that to 75-100 per character and the game will stay balanced at least on normal.I think the Pictos that uncaps the damage cap is the thing that breaks the game. Prior to that the game is balanced around having a 9,999 damage cap but with it gone your damage output goes well into the millions.

That's not balanced either. What breaks it is stacking cheater with energy master with all the energizing starts and energizing turn. There's also all kinds of auto death/survivor shenanigans, all of which takes hundreds of points to achieve. On normal the game stays balanced if the points are limited.

Is it recommended to just go straight toLumierewhen act 3 starts due to overleveling if you dont, and save the rest for postgame?
Head straight for the end, load and go back out to do all the optional stuffHead straight for the end, load and go back out to do all the optional stuff

Oh, it allows you to do that? I would have assumed the limited amount of autosaves would lock you out of that.
Also, does anyone know what the song that plays during the act 2 Renoir fight is called? It's epic as fuck but I can't find a name for it without going deep in spoiler territory.

I recommend trying to get everyone's friendship level maxed at least. That's just my personal opinion. I did most of the side stuff before ever going to the final dungeon, and was way overpowered... but if you want to keep some balance, the side friendship levels are a good focus point before finishing the game. This is what I most recommend. Especially Maelle's max friendship side quest as it has the most relevance to the main plot. Lune's is pretty short and mostly tied to her. Monoco's is kinda cool as it expands the lore on the gestrals a bit and it's quite a beautiful area. Sciel I...don't even remember lol

Ended up being an unfounded worry, but eh.
Sciel has the most disappointing relationship there's not even a quest. Everyone else gets a relationship quest except her.I actually liked that part. I wanted to finally get to the final dungeon, and those friendship quests were way more time consuming than I thought they'd be. It was like oh thank god, her quest is short lol.
I read (in this thread I think) that you need to use Verso in combat to get relationship points and I haven't used him in forever and don't really plan to do so.
Considering I already have relationship levels, I'm not sure how true that is, but I really have no desire to change my core of Maelle-Sciel-Monoco.

Outside of when he first joined, I never used him. I mainly used Maelle, Lune and Sciel. And I used Monoco when I got to a new area so he could get his nevron legs. I had no issue maxing out all of the relationship levels.

You miss stuff? You can't just get that sweet lore post game?

she's just There.I think they were trying to make the main game party
she could be removed from the game and nothing would change
The first time around I romanced Sciel because she was the first to throw it at me lol. in NG+ I turned it down and romanced Lune instead, as things should be.I romanced Sciel because I
I romanced Sciel because Ikept hoping that Gustave secretly survived somehow. So he'd come back and I'd have him romance Lune.lol
stupidly, lore wise,he could have come back through maelle like sciel and lune did
She was able to restore them because their Chroma was still right there in the area; she grabbed it before taking off with Verso and Esquie, when she says "I can still see them" and draws something from the air. Gustave's Chroma was long since returned to the collection/source.

With Gustave passing during an expedition his Chroma should stay with him and not return as it does during Gommage. Maelle was able to collect the Chroma from other expeditionars, although it was old Chroma. Gustave's Chroma shouldn't be all that old however.
I think they were trying to make the main game partya reflection of the Painter Family. Sciel would be Clea, the big sister, who of all the family isn't really fleshed out as much and is kind of apathetic to things
Painted Verso is, well, Verson, Maelle is the real Alicia and Monoco and Noco are painted versions of the family's pets. Who is Renoir and Aline?
There is so fucking much to explore in act 3 I'm genuinely being paralyzed by choice.Focus on maxing out relationships first. Do Sprong if you haven't already, then do the flying snake guy.
Just defeated theI wished more bosses had that cinematic finisher.Duelliste
I wished more bosses had that cinematic finisher.Yeah, that was awesome
Alright, I think I'm far enough in (just beat Dualliste) to ask for a bit of build suggestions. Basically, what are the important skills to be aiming for withVerso, Lune, Maelle, and Sciel?
