I think its neat that in Pokemon ghost type Pokemon arent the living dead or spirits but creatures that channel ghost energy or share things in common with spirits. Ghost type Pokemon can still die and become actual ghosts and spirits like Mimikins the Mimikyu in the anime, she was a Mimikyu that died and came back as a ghost. Being a ghost is a different existence than being a ghost type, for example Pokemon ghosts dont show up in pictures or they cant harm other Pokemon, as seen in the anime their attacks just phase though living Pokemon. I also think this was the case for the Marowak ghost in Gen 1, you couldnt harm it but you could fight the ghost types in the tower.Isn't this contradicted by the pokedex? Specifically Yamask.
Nidorina and Nidoqueen not being able to breed was not a Gen 2 bug that was kept for consistency; that fact was planned since the very beginning, before genders and breeding were introduced as game mechanics.Glad to know Game Freak wanted Nidoking to have a childbride.
In the Pocket Monsters Encyclopedia released a few months after Red/Green in 1996, it states that Nidorina has lost the ability to lay eggs.
Nostalgia is a beautiful liar. It shows you highlight reels, while hiding all the reasons things ended. You scroll through old photos, replay conversations, and convince yourself that what's gone was better than what remains. But, clinging to memories keeps you trapped between worlds. Physically here, but mentally living in moments that no longer exist. You're giving your present away to ghosts who have already moved on with their lives. The hardest truth is that you're often remembering alone, while you're analyzing every detail of what used to be. They've created new stories that don't include you. They found peace by letting go of what you still hold on to. Your mind wasn't designed to live in the past. It was made for right now. For building new connections. For healing. For growing beyond what was. The memories worth keeping are the ones that gently inform your future, not the ones that hold it hostage. Let the past stay where it belongs. Today needs you more.

The Pokeball doesn't actually turn the Pokemon into data and store them or something that makes sense like that, Pokemon just instinctively have the ability to turn super small when they're put in a Pokeball.Yeah, a lot of people were surprised at this when Legends Arceus brought it up to explain how Pokeballs work. But once again, this was something that was also established since the start, that all Pokemon have the inherent ability to shrink themselves to get away from danger. (Not sure how shrinking oneself would aid in that; you'd think it'd just make them an easier, more vulnerable target.)
No. The Pokdex is very selective in their wording and often includes terms like reborn, rebirth or reincarnation. Also
The spirit of a person from a bygone age became this Pokmon. It rambles through ruins, searching for someone who knows its face.

What this means is that spirits can become new living species again capable of reproducing, needing food and they can die again.

Pokeballs force the Pokemon into this state so that it can contain them inside.
One out of three female Azurill undergo a spontaneous sex change to male upon evolving to Marill.
Hey guys, did you know that in terms of male human and female Pokmon breeding, Vaporeon is the most compatible Pokmon for humans?Tell me more.
They fixed that in Gen 6.First they change gay Love Balls to straight ones, then they get rid of trans Marill. Gamefreak is full of haters.
