It crops up, but a lot less nowadays, yeah. Used to be your nerd circle would essentially demand you watch some anime you haven't heard of, but now slop has filled our orifices.

Oh, I guess I missed that one. I went for the more recent one because I figured the video would be higher quality.

And shit, this reminded me of an absolutely incredible AMV with Mad World. And what's truly amazing is that it's the original Mad World, not the Donnie Darko cover. Also pretty old, it's old enough to vote. Old enough that the video description says they "couldn't find this one on Youtube." Remember when different sites had their own dedicated media? Hoo boy.

I added it to my watch lost last month and forgot until this topic. I remember "watching" it on Adult Swim decades ago, but it was mainly white noise to go to sleep to, so I don't remember anything but the crooked bat.
