I remember wanting to try out Assault because it looked like more of a follow-up to 64 but never got around to it. Is that kind of what it is or was I way off?it's a mix of 64 and adventures gameplay wise. There are 10 missions, of those 3 of them are purely on rails, the rest are on-foot/all-range mode in some mix, with various blasters and weapons and such, landmaster included in a few missions. If you're looking for purely 64 it is not that. The rails missions are at least not throwaways like the planet-travelling parts of adventures though, and it's at least mission-based rather than open world.
So, uh, can we talk about it?as long as it's not political
Whether it's beating a very difficult game, getting 100% on a game, getting a speedrun finished, doing some sort of challenge run, etc.Somehow I cleared that one but the one I'm missing is the ring of chaos on 9.0
I'm not really the type to go for 100% clears a lot, but I enjoyed Kid Icarus: Uprising so much I was compelled to get all the Achievements without using the skips. Towards the end of that I was genuinely worried it wasn't healthy... (the second to last level on the hardest difficulty is absolutely brutal).
Oh, another recent card thing I did was get the complete set of Doctor Who MTG UB cards by that I mean I just bought the four premade commander decks. Did not realize that just buying those gave you all the unique cards of the set, and the boosters are just collector boosters that give you variants. Im not really a Magic player, I have no idea how to get into it and even if I did Id want to play standard still, it was fun finding the commander decks and putting all the cards in one big binder.I recommend Arena since it gives you free starter decks to use and teaches you the rules if you want to learn how to play. I would not recommend commander as your first actual MTG playing experience.
if that 3 is the 3 I'm thinking of, that's the "extra hard" part of the DLC and you absolutely don't have to do that to finish the dlc stuff. Each of the 3 areas has one.Remember when I said this? Frigid outskirts is one of those. have fun
Oh word? So you don't get how american corporations would harness this to maximize productivity by eliminating bathrooms from the workplace. You'd be locked in at your desk/station all day. Especially when they also stitch up something to either inject or feed you a ration at selected times.I assume catesdb was thinking more with regards to the mechanics rather than outside forces. IE as stated in the OP "Would you be okay with pissing/****ing yourself" which would be the downside, it'd be purely mental and whether you could adapt to the idea of doing this.
My answer is both, I guess. I would absolutely use it at home, just to save time. They'd also be really nice for road trips or going to events. But at work, having a nice little bathroom break to calm down and have a little me time can redeem an entire day.Counterpoint: Don't tell your boss you have this tech, take bathroom breaks anyway even if you don't need them
That said, I'd definitely not poop around people. Surely the stink would get out there, even if briefly, and that'd be fucking horrible.
That game had online? I own it but never played it; what am i missing?Essentially 3 on 3 but after a certain amount of team deaths one player turns into an uber stats god player to try and facilitate a comeback, and if that uber player dies its game over
thats about where im at lol.if that 3 is the 3 I'm thinking of, that's the "extra hard" part of the DLC and you absolutely don't have to do that to finish the dlc stuff. Each of the 3 areas has one.
still stuck at elana, but also found cerah, graverobber, and varg and its not much easier lmao. After absolutely sweeping through the main game, this DLC has completely stopped me in my tracks
Lol yeah i figured it out. They only show respect if you fight their leadersKind of. It's more "if you try to leave the area" will they turn on you.
Also the ancient dragon killed me with its flying fire attack a couple times because i forgot depleting your stamina makes it so you cant run for a couple seconds
Sorry that I somehow put my main bracket in the coinflip group too. I have no idea how that happened or how to remove it because espn.com is inscrutable to me.the espn layout this year is horrendous, we were talking about it in the discord how it apparently just auto adds a bracket you make to each group you join or something if you used the link, you had to do some weird process to get them sorted out.
I'm always more shocked at just how much crap Ice and Grass are weak to despite how good they are at attacking, and also what Steel is strong against when attacking (like, yes, I get strong versus Fairy because of the whole "can't stand cold iron" but nothing else ever makes sense to me what it hits strong and what resists it.)Fairy specifically was made to buff steel and poison as attacking types and nerf dragon, I don't think there's much logic behind that one.
I'm pretty low key here. I try to respect people I just call them out on double standards and oddities in things they claim which gets some people super mad. Like I'm not saying XIII is virtue signaling as some sort of attack I am saying that because that's literally what he's doing. He's trying to make people feel guilty for telling a troll to stop posting and mocking said troll while simultaneously absolving himself for doing as bad or worse to other posters like MWC.You aren't low key, you're very high and mighty when you post. You aren't a troll but you think very highly of yourself and assume anyone who sees you differently is a single cell organism.
I honestly don't get how you could ever think I'm a troll if it wasn't "oh no that guy said something I didn't agree with and articulated his point well-- I'm going to pretend he's a troll so I don't have to accept that I might be in the wrong here."
So yeah. Sensitive. And very scary imo.
There was the odd sign that he listened to the posts, but it was all coming through an LMS filter. Like he'd go from referencing youtube randos to like "yeah sorry to mention another 'youtube rando' BUT this thing they said is bad because...". He's unable to move off that topic but showed at least some evidence that he was trying to make his posts fit the audience a bit more. Granted it was wildly unsuccessful and the posts were still all over the place but his posts aren't one completely homogenous blob - there was a kind of progression.I mean the real solution for him if he truly wants to interact with people is realize that the way he wants to do so, isn't how the rest of the board wants him to do so. So he can either foist his way onto us, or make a sacrifice. If he's trying to have his cake and eat it too then that obv isn't going to fly.
Well firstly I don't think he's "knowingly" shitting up anything. He believes his posts have value and are relevant. At some point the burden is on the individual to realize their posts aren't wanted, even if they believe they have value. No one else does, it's not bullying to tell them so imo. But we're also past the point of "How many times do we have to teach you this lesson old man?" like telling him his posts suck at this point to his face isn't gonna do anything, so I get why you think it's bullying. I don't though, he knows what he's doing.
What is or isn't bullying is a fairly subjective line. I can't tell you what point I became comfortable with calling the responses to LMS that, but to me it has to be sustained so it would have been after months or years. What do you think would have to be happening for that to be a word you'd be comfortable using?
Yeah the poison area is rough.*shudder*Good thing you aren't there yet.
yeah i kinda agree with you here. Do you still work fast food, you absolutely hated it right? Lots of people like fast food though. They are always short of workers.I didn't "absolutely" hate it, but it was kinda crap yeah. I don't, it was my first job for about 5 years though so I got enough of it for a lifetime
3% probably sounds about right in my estimation of my time in retail, in terms of negative impression. They are so rare but they really just ruin your day and make your life unreasonably stressful as a result.Honestly people say this all the time but I'm not convinced, instead you'd get a bunch of people who think they now have a right to gripe at people because they had to go through it.
I've always felt everyone in the US should spend six months working in retail or food service. You'd never get an asshole customer again.
Like what do the bad ones really do though? They are usually there for like 15 mins right? In fast food context I would say deliberately talking bad about the staff, to the staff, when the staff have done nothing wrong, just because it's not as fast as they'd like.
Naaaaaw that's not what that was lol.Honestly, some of the story decisions past few seasons have been really baffling and have p clearly been ways to move it along to different regions even if they don't make sense. I wouldn't mind a diff storyteller taking over.
Ice Queendom is something else.
If RWBY isn't being made by the current CRWBY, it isn't RWBY.
