Wait, that's a real quote? It's slightly paraphrased, but yes. Toast was very upset that people were insulting Fandom
It's slightly paraphrased, but yes. Toast was very upset that people were insulting FandomI don't know which is worse -- Toast being legit upset that Fandom was getting dumped on, or Toast being ordered by Fandom to make that post and him doing it.
[insert explicit language here] Fandom
Wait, that's a real quote?
People are shaming him for this, but idk what other opinion he's supposed to have? He works for them. Anything else and he could lose his job.
Well I mean, DToast is just an employee. Im not sure why people cant seem to grasp this. Its almost para social in a way.Shut the fuck up.
Meaning, folks want something to yell and scream at something so badly that they keep on giving executive traits to DToast that he doesnt even have.
Its all really just being done so that disgruntled users have a collective outlet by which to direct their rage at.
But in reality its like screaming at the Starbucks Barista because the company took away Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
In that regard, I could understand DToast not wanting a bunch of users that fall under his management to go on and be insulting his employer. It just looks really bad, and the blowback (whatever that might be) may actually end up unjustifiably falling onto him.
I mean quite obviously its not his fault that a bunch of users are being very vocal in their displeasure of Fandom, but at the same time it is a very logical assumption that his higher ups are eventually going to ask him please get you all to stop.
but DToast still isnt going to have the executive power to give into the users demands so it probably isnt going to stop, and that really is too bad.
Ultimately by making tons of topics that are basically just saying
youre just making a normal dudes life potentially miserable. Its not cool.
Its better to give legitimate constructive criticism/feedback. Voice your complaints, but in a way that doesnt get DToast pulling his hair in frustration.

I don't think we should listen to the guy who made a subreddit that organized mass e-mail campaigns to Fandom against the mods.
I don't know what's more pathetic, the comment itself or this insanity defending it.
They're going to add it to the ToS before they clarify what the "politics ban" actually means.

Is it bad I read this without initially looking at the username and knew who it was?
But in reality its like screaming at the Starbucks Barista because the company took away Pumpkin Spice Lattes.More like screaming at the manager of yiur local Starbucks because the company removed it, but the results are basically the same.

It's funny because insulting Dtoast is insulting a user so isn't allowed but Fandom is just a company which is fair game (for now)
