This is such a bad post.
There are several Muslim societies were homosexuals are executed.
The comparison is crazy.
Every post you make defending the actions of the homophobes, including this one, is also bad, so I don't know why you're suddenly pretending to be concerned about such things.
Executions, castration, long term/life imprisonment, or lobotomies for homosexual people were common in so-called Christian societies up until about the 1960's. Stonewall, for example, happened because the cops would raid the gay bars just to harass the customers there, and they could get away with arresting people just for being gay or the suspicion of it.
You still find the mentality in "Christian" places like Uganda, which notoriously was considering execution or life imprisonment for homosexuality. The only reason why they did not do this is because they were afraid of international backlash... there is still the mentality that gay people, especially activists, need to be murdered to "protect the children."
And it should be noted that it was an AMERICAN evangelist, Scott Lively, who encouraged all of this because he wanted to see gay people being murdered in the streets in Uganda. He couldn't get it done in America so he would settle for Uganda. There is also Russia, where there is state sanctioned violence against homosexual people, especially in Chechnya, and where people are so emboldened that they actually film themselves beating, kidnapping, and torturing LGBT people.
Besides, as you are quite aware and merely trying to deflect from ,the whole point is that these people PRETEND to give a fuck about the civil rights of LGBT people when they can use it to sling mud at Islam, but when that's not a factor, they are all too happy to let it be known that they consider our community to be subhuman filth and seek to treat us in kind, even going out of their way to do so. They will always ignore far more important legislation in order to scapegoat LGBT people.
