agesboy posted... dyson sphere program is pretty great now, they've done quite a lot of QoL since it released. including blueprints and much easier mass placement of stuff in general. obviously it's nowhere near factorio's complexity and power, but 3d building is something pretty unique about it

I've been keeping an eye on that one. It doesn't seem to be getting anything more than a 10% discount any time soon, which makes me think it's going the Rimworld route (similar philosophy to Factorio in that they aren't using sales to manipulate people into buying it, but easing up a bit on that so people that wishlist it will still be reminded of it), but it certainly seems like it'll be worth the price. I figure I'll take the plunge if it happens to go on sale when I'm in the mood to buy it.
