Middle hope posted... Detroit police are stretched thin and dont have the manpower for something like getting back a stolen car.
My grandfather has been on the DPD force for over 50 years and told me how much of a shit show it is. Sometimes they cant even get to murder scenes for hours because they are preoccupied with so much other shit.
Only way to get them to come for sure is to call in an officer down.
In departments like DPD, you literally come into your shift with a few hundred pending calls that the previous shift didnt have time to handle.
