Anyone playing it?

It's an extraction shooter. That's all I need to know to be sure that it isn't worth my time.

I've heard nothing but good things, so I impulse bought it today. I'll try it out over the next few days.

ive been close to impulse buying as well, but like the other guy said extraction shooter isn't usually my style

It really isn't mine either, but I figured I gotta branch out sometimes.

The trailers and advertisements looked intriguing but I don't have a lot of experience with extraction shooters so IDK if it's got a lot of depth to it or if it's just gonna be super monotonous after a couple of days.

I played a lot of Division 1 and Division 2 and the PvPvE in the Dark Zones there were enough to tell me to not touch Arc Raiders. I still play TD2 Dark Zones because at this point there's nothing another player can do to grief me after obtaining all of the exclusive blueprints and rare drops that could come from those areas. I spend a lot of time there griefing the griefers by calling fake extracts just to fuck with them if I see them ganging up on other players.

Arc Raiders is fine now because everyone is still new to the game but give it a month and there will be cheaters and people who get their jollies off on griefing and nothing else. If you value the time you spend gaming I personally would recommend that you avoid it.

I think its all mixed together

I find it fun. I hate pvp and for the most part the community doesn't have to much fighting. Not that it doesn't exist, I've been killed by players a few times but I'd say like 80% of my interactions with strangers in the game hasn't resulted in PvP.

Its a kinda generic extraction shooter. Fortnite mixed with tarkov. Its probably by far the most accessible one out there.

I didn't play long, but I only extracted once. Every player I came across shot me, which is the opposite of what I've been hearing. I'll figure things out.
(Context, this is my first extraction shooter)
