But the Jays did it as an entire team. Nobody mentions how Santander was basically injured the entire season, Bo went down for the last month or so and playing in only the World Series basically on one leg, Berrios, Bowden Francis, and Yimi Garcia all being great pitchers who also got injured. eh we'll just have to wait and see obviously. i do like some of their guys going forward like Barger, and guys like Varsho and Clement at least bring defense to raise their floor a little bit even if their bats fall off. big key is of course Yesavage. if he's a true bonafide ace then that does a lot of heavy lifting for their rotation because it looked suspect after Gausman, and no, Jose Berrios is most certainly not a great pitcher --- https://i.imgur.com/hLHUnOI.jpg You act like I don't know my own way home ... there are a million different things you can point to that helped the jays lose these last two games the way they did. the ball getting lodged under the wall is not one of them. it didn't really change anything. let's say the lead runner scores instead of being forced back to 3rd, it's still a one run game. the moment in game 7 that would keep me up at night if i was a jays fan was the bases loaded play at the plate, video shows that IKF did not have much of a lead off the bag at all. he would have 100% scored there with a better secondary lead given how Rojas fielded that ball --- https://i.imgur.com/hLHUnOI.jpg You act like I don't know my own way home ...
