Which place have you eaten at more recently, CE?

Mcdonalds, because of the Monopoly game.

I dont eat much of either, but Burger King is terrible here. I preferred Burger King to McDonalds in the UK, but here, I wont eat it at all.

I might get McDonalds like once every 4-6 months. Most likely if I am with my nephews and wanna get Happy Meals.

I think Ive had BK once in the last decade.

I guess McDonalds. It was months ago in Japan. First time the kids had McDonalds (they are teens) and they thought it sucked.

If they thought Japanese McDonalds sucks, then theyd be even more disappointed by US McDonalds.

If you don't admit that Burger King is superior to McDonald's in every way we can't be friends.

McDonald's because the nearest McDonald's is a hell of lot closer than the nearest Burger King.

I got McD's last year, cause of a CE topic of all things.

Nostalgia did not compensate for how trash it was.

I don't think I've been to either in years but have been to McDonald's more recently.

Burger King is better but there are like three McDonalds that are closer to my home than the nearest Burger King soooo

Burger King but only because we needed a bathroom and it was the closest one.

Since moving here I've only had each one once tbh. In n Out rules. Also there's a Wendy's that has the most absurdly good sodas

Theres lots of good places to get burgers here, but they wont be ones anybody else on this board has heard of.

No. Havent eaten out anywhere since 2017. But ironically where I live in farm country in the Midwest the city I drive to for groceries that is the big city near me is 10,000 people and the only two fast food non pizza places they have are McDonalds and Burger King.

Burger King. Got 2 Whopper Jrs. They were very good and the price for $6 was also good for being in 2025.

Haven't had McDonald's in many years so I can't recall everything about why I don't like it, I just know that I remember it sucking. I do remember that the patties taste like vegetable oil while Burger King's actually taste like they came off a grill.

McDonalds, because there's a McDonalds near me and the only Burger King around is enough out of the way it's really not worth going there unless I was already over there to begin with, and Its not a side of town I'm ever over by.

McDonalds I think? Though it would have been more than 5 years ago at this point I think, and that was the first time I had gone to McDonalds in years. Basically havent eaten either since 2010 or 2011 (I dont remember)

edit: like I went to McDs and tried to order the Chicken Selects and they were like whats that?

Wendy's actually, but out of the two options listed, McDonald's. Burger King has always had this kind of wrong taste to it for me and was really only worth going to when they had the Ch'king.

I don't think I've been to either in decades. I'm more a wendy's/jack-in-the-box and occasional whataburger type

but in terms of the question it's probably mcdonalds for hashbrowns

I prefer Wendy's.

Pretty much sworn off all non-chickie fingie fast food but I am sure Ive had BK more recently than Maccas.

If I am getting bad fast food I'm going to Wendy's or In-n-Out

BK. We've been on a pretty big kick with it for a few months now. Got all the HtTyD toys, but sadly didn't get Rock Lee during the Naruto toys

I've pretty much sworn off Mcdonald's because that's all I had as a kid. Now it's Burger King, Wendy's, or some other chain.

The BK around me is dog shit, which is sad because the 2 McDonald's aren't very good either.

probably mcdonalds since there's one right down the street and pretty much every BK i can think of has closed over the last few years, but its been a very long time since i've eaten any fast food.

McDonalds, which I only get maybe a few times per year, but it wins basically by default because we don't have Burger King here.

I think I went 5-10 years without eating Burger King before college. When I moved to a dorm room in college, there was a Burger King within walking distance so I started eating there again. I don't think I've been back to one since and that was 12-13 years ago.

I don't eat McDonalds much either, but I've never gone years I don't think. My last time was a few months ago when I went on a short road trip with friends. I used to eat McDonalds a lot in high school and right after college. Now it's like a couple times a year and usually at someone else's suggestion.

Burger King, probably a year or two ago. It was actually not long after we got one in my city, and it's right next to my place of work. My dad was picking me up from work one day, and he was buying himself some Burger King for lunch, so he bought me a burger as well.

McDonald's has far better french fries

But everything else at Burger King is superior, and cheaper too. The one nearest me even has a Coca Cola Freestyle machine (maybe they all do? idk) so the drink selection is phenomenal

They go from a 10/10 to a 4.3/10 very quickly imho.

Burger King, they do some surprisingly great vegetarian burgers. It probably varies based on country though

Neither. I went to mcdondalds once right after they got rid of the dollar menu and I havent been back since. Nothing they have is worth the price at this point. Same thing with Burger King and I honestly try to avoid giving them money because I have worked for them and I know how they treat the workers.

I haven't been to McDonalds in years. I get a Rodeo King 5 or 6 times a years.

If you haven't had one in 9 years and one in 10 years (just as hypothetical options) then the one you haven't had in 9 years would be the one you've had more recently. The only way to have had neither more recently is to have never had either.

BK is cheaper here (but absolutely awful) but back in the UK, BK was significantly more expensive than McDonalds. It was nicer though.
