they actually are not legit

Though they were good at various times under both Bowles and Saleh's tenure. People just continuously think of them as having a good defense and "just" being let down by the fact that they are eternally cursed at QB but tbqh the defense has been kinda bad lately anyway. Like over a season at this point.

I got cute in fantasy this week and it might cost me. I saw that the Commanders had 3 injured WRs which should have bumped Luke McCaffrey up to like WR2 or possibly even WR1. And they were playing the cowboys who have had awful secondary defense all year, so I picked him up at the last minute yesterday and decided to start him instead of Addison for the Vikings...

Addison put up 17 points and McCaffrey has 0.00 going into the 4th quarter with only a single target. What a big swing and a miss

As it stands I'm projected to win by 1-2 points but my opponent and I both have Monday players. It's essentially a coin flip and it would have been a lock if I had just stayed put.
