I would say people laugh at the Browns, Jets, and Cowboys more than anyone else. Jaguars are in a different category where they're largely irrelevant most of the time.

Thats a fair point, Jags are most irrelevant, Browns have been the biggest punchline

Browns win % since 2000 is 34.5%, second lowest is Jags at 37.9%

Browns have one playoff win since 1999. they have seen a carousel of QBs and Baker Mayfield now playing at an MVP level. Plus 0-16, factory of sadness, Deshaun Watson contract, etc. etc.

AFC south in general just does not have any serious rivalries or franchises in that division compared to others. Even the Colts have bigger rivalries outside of it. Probably because 3/4 were established later on in the 90s/00s.

Kinda feel like the Pelicans in the NBA, Rockies in baseball, or a good chunk of the expansion teams in hockey (Blue Jackets and Wild etc) where most feel like they are just there.

This is largely true. I still hate the Steelers and the Ravens more than I hate any AFC South team. I hate Dallas's rivals more, too.

In Indy's case, it was probably more because it was impossible as a Tennessee fan to hate the Colts when Peyton was the QB, even when he was wrecking the Titans every year. I still laugh at them when things go wrong, but I also kinda feel good when AFC South teams do well because everyone else looks at us as the worst division in the NFL. It's almost kinda banded us together like it's us versus the rest of the NFL...!
