My diet is tailored around meat and vegetables with a heavy dose of it being red meat. I have a health issues that impacts my digestion and intake greatly. I eat no gluten or dairy and even though Im no longer avoiding it at one point I was also off soy and was low FODMAP which was stupidly restrictive. I also cant have alcohol or caffeine and I often find weird individual things that give me reactions. So ultimately for me meat is just safe and doesnt give me reactions but Ive always eaten a lot of meat even before my health issues. But after my restrictions it became my go to stable base. When you feel sick all the time and are afraid of putting food in your body unless you know it is safe trust me when you find a safe food you will eat more of it. Its why I gave up eating out completely in 2017 and every meal comes from my kitchen prepared from scratch made by me. Sure I add chicken, pork, and fish in there too but I love red meat. As soon as the crisp cool fall weather kicks in more I cant wait to make the first pot of chili for the season. I go meat heavy with like 6 pounds of hamburger in it. I make a 4 pound meatloaf like once every month and Ill eat meatloaf sandwiches all week at work. I like to make roasts/carrots/potatoes/onions in the crockpot on a regular basis. Im making tacos tonight and that will be like 3 pounds of hamburger and Ill eat it over the next few days. I make tacos regularly. Yeah the list goes on and on. I regularly consume red meat.
