Anyway... https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/68580/~/how-to-update-mario-kart-world Among the changes, a few notable ones: Can now join with friends in a Knockout Tour. (Why wasn't this already a thing?) Free Roam change: Cleared P Switches and collected Peach Medallions now show up on the map and also provide a skip travel point. Controlling UFOs in Free Roam will now transform you into any character you suck up, and they're more common. This includes the enemy characters, so no need to rely on Kamek RNG to get the one you want. Further frequency of lap-type courses in online play. Controls are kinda bad, you can't customize the controls really, drifting kinda sucks compared to Transformed, the tracks are ok I guess. It's definitely not worth $70 at all. I'm sure the new MK game has better controls, better drifting and you can customize the controls somewhat. I know Transformed was made by different devs but the devs for the new game had the blueprint for a good game right there and choose not to use it. The right trigger not being the Gas/acceleration button is so dumb and counter intuitive. --- I believe in Joe Hendry!! I think Im having a hard time finding a setup that handles well for me, but its also just a lot of other issues - items still get stolen left and right, the physics feel lousy compared to 8 Deluxe, and item bull** is at an all time high. Boo shows up way too damn much to make holding items defensively worth it, and there is I always a cluster of shells and stars and mega mushrooms at seemingly all the time. --- I'll tell you where the real road lies: Between your ears, behind your eyes.
