The dumb humor and style kinda works but it doesn't play great. I may have actually liked the puppy juggling stage most.

I think it's pretty underrated.

There are a lot of levels that are shockingly interesting and unique and creative. I frequently cite them IRL as a useful reference point:

• "oh I just got to a level in Bananza last night that's exactly like Lorenzen's Soil!"
• or "oh yeah Earthworm Jim 2 had a minigame just like this between levels, it was more charming though, also surprisingly difficult."
• or "wow this is a pretty weird level. almost as weird as that Cave Salamander level in Earthworm Jim 2, but not quite."

The humor also totally works for me, like the grandma stair lifts, the random trivia game show, and Level Ate.

I also always have really liked the soundtrack. I don't listen to it regularly, but I occasionally go back to it on purpose. Surprisingly good use of Moonlight Sonata.

Definitely way better than Earthworm Jim 1, which has a really good first couple levels, but then quickly gets way too difficult, and not interesting enough to get past.

I think I've played a little of an Earthworm Jim game but I have no clue if it was this one or not

I don't know how to feel about this game nowadays. It's weird and charming and as a kid this style of humor was hilarious, but is it actually that fun or good? Most of the levels are annoying as fuck. I dunno. I still have a weird soft spot for it.

I think it's very funny that this is one of the few soundtracks that Tommy Tallarico ACTUALLY DID COMPOSE, in my opinion (he did not compose Earthworm Jim 1, this is a commonly held misconception that even the famous video doesn't dispel) and it's still like half public domain music lol

Anything But Tangerines slaps though and I'm actually like 90% confident Tallarico really did write it

Ya Anything But Tangerines is amaaaaazing. I had no idea he didn't do the first game! I prefer the 2nd game's soundtrack by far tho.
