Honestly, the best time of my life was between late 2015 and early 2022. Everything after that has sucked. Lots of things after 2015 sucked socially in our world. But I was in a happy relationship. I came here in 2003 when I was turning 15 that year. I'll be 37 now. I'm still very nostalgic for all the games released many years ago. Seriously though, people also kinda forget it took a little bit of time for people to actually like Wind Waker because it was too cartoony. The early 00s era of gaming was filled with this. Its the same concept behind why everyone shat on Raiden in MGS2. The double down happened in 2015. But all contemporary problems in "first world" nations (and 2nd world, and probably even a lot of 3rd world tbh) is internet addiction, which became a massive uncontrollable problem in the social media + smart phone + algorithm age. Sure my older brother was tying up our land line 24/7 in 1998 or whatever, but that was not the norm for most people. It was a manageable addiction in both the amount of people addicted, and the specific people already addicted didn't have such a strong addiction.
