It is ridiculous that Trump wants to disavow one of the only good things that happened on his watch during his first term (he had nothing to do with it, but the vaccine came out while he was President and mismanaging the rest of the pandemic). Continuing to decide to make public health a wedge issue instead is not going to end well for this country.

100% agree with you TC. I honestly thought all the lockdowns were pointless since the begining. They didn't help then, there not going to help now. At least my state hasn't implemented anything since they dropped everything in the Spring. Only thing that effects me is my employer requires me to wear a chin diaper because I'm not vaxed. So I wear one there.

Yeah. It's already becoming a thing because you can get decent medical care in other countries for a much cheaper cost. Even without insurance it's oftentimes more affordable, and if the procedure is an elective one, it's always russian roulette when it comes to whether your insurance will cover it and how much your insurance will pay.

But if the US is going to start denying people basic medical care, then I guess I'll probably start using my annual overseas trip as an opportunity to get vaccinated too
