They were both on Whose Line Is It Anyway? and now they are both game show hosts. Here is a podcast interview they had together recently, I'm watching it now

I've always found Wayne Brady to be fairly overrated, but a large part of that is because I never liked the musical numbers on Whose Line, and that was like 90% of his claim to fame (the other 10% being that he was a non-scary black man that white people could love).

It also didn't help that I kind of hated the American version of Whose Line as a whole anyway. I vastly preferred the British version.

With Drew Carey, I liked him as a stand-up and his sitcom was okay. And he did some funny stuff with the WWE. I'm not really a huge fan of anything else he's done beyond that (and both he and Wayne Brady annoy me as the hosts of the game shows they took over from far better hosts).

Wayne Brady, no question. It's not like I dislike Drew, I love him, too. But Wayne is just cooler and I really appreciate his musical comedy for the same reason as I do Reggie Watts.

Out of the main four, Drew/Colin/Ryan/Wayne, I think it's a tossup between Colin and Wayne for me. Wayne has the suave factor and Colin has the IDGAF old man vibe

I have to disagree with what they were saying about the host of Whose Line. They were both saying (especially Drew though, and I understand his humility) that the host of Whose Line doesn't matter and ChatGPT could be the host of that show. While the 4 main personalities are obviously the most important part of Whose Line, as the above poster said there were only 3 regular personalities. So people got to know Drew just as much as any of the other personalities. And on top of that Drew was really funny and added a lot to that show. I would take him any day over the "stuffy Brit" Clive Anderson as host. I've never actually seen Whose Line with Alicia as host, which is what they were talking about in the interview.

Also another thing they said is how people never watch them as game show hosts the same again after seeing their real personalities at comedy shows. I knew Drew was like that from Whose Line, but I thought he just became wholesome when he got older lol

I preferred Drew Carey Show over Whose line.
