Rules

1. You may vote up to 4 entries that fit the prompt.
2. No alts.
3. No deleting or editing posts; though, editing posts shortly after you post is fine.
4. If you change your vote, clearly indicate that you are changing a previous vote. Same for adding or subtracting picks.
5. In general, if there are two picks that can be considered the same product (i.e. Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle), I will combine them.
6. If a vote is vague, I will pick the first available choice that best matches the vote (i.e. "Mario" for Wii Games becomes Super Mario Galaxy).
7. I will post the parameters of each Rushmore topic. Other than that, feel free to vote however you like and based on any criteria that best fits the "Mount Rushmore" of that topic.
8. If a vote doesn't fit the topic, it will count as a blank vote.
9. You may nominate as much as you want and have an unlimited amount of seconds for established nominations.
10. Every Sunday, I'll post the schedule for next week. I will pick based on the number of nominations. Any ties will be determined by RNG.

Rare circumstance where there were as many picks that got 3 votes and 2 votes as picks that got 1 votes.

Rhapsody in Blue was composed in the 1920s, but there is a well-known 1950s version composed. I'll pick that one instead of the original done by George Gershwin.

Predictably, this Rushmore already has more than the 1950s one did over 24 hours.

The Beatles song HAS to be Hey Jude. It spent the longest time at #1 of any of their songs and to people who were alive at the time it was very much an event - it was like, the go-to feel-good song during Vietnam times.

for what its worth, a local oldies station used to do a listener-voted countdown of the top 500 60s songs every 4th of July weekend, and Hey Jude was #1 every single year.

Brown Eyed Girl should also be a lock - its actually the most-played song on the radio, ever.

Hey Jude
Brown Eyed Girl
(I Cant Get No) Satisfaction
Respect

Artists would be so much easier
I'll just throw out a few that have not been said.

Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody
Beach Boys - Good Vibrations
Elvis - Suspicious Minds

But I'll have to think for a 4th, it's a loaded decade that has a lot of different sounds to it
