Rotterdammerung 06/30/25 11:23:50 PM #1:	He was almost 20, so a very good innings for a cat. He was without a doubt the sweetest cat Ive ever known - zero edge and just this beautiful benevolent presence. I moved out of my mums place 13 years ago, but whenever I went over there, it was like Id never left. Hed be my constant, sweet companion. After I had the kids and they were out of the unpredictable, screechy small child phase, he was their best friend whenever we visited. Hed follow them around like a dog, and absolutely lapped up their adoration. Hed started to get very skinny over the last few months, and my mum called me Sunday morning to say that he was unresponsive. When I got over there, it was clear that while his body was still going, his spirit had left us. I called a home euthanasia service, because my mum was understandably too distraught. The vet who came over was lovely, and incredibly compassionate to both my mum and the beautiful boy who was leaving us. --- Evil begins when you begin to treat people as things. GNU STP They/them.
