I haven't gotten my eyes checked since 2023 and it was at a different place in another town. But in my eye doctor appointment reminder text today, they mentioned bringing your current eye glasses prescription. Would they actually need that if it's been so long? I'm intending to get as full an eye exam as my insurance covers --- https://imgur.com/gallery/dXDmJHw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75GL-BYZFfY ... Copied to Clipboard!

If you have a current pair of glasses or contacts, you can bring those. Pretty sure the prescription is hidden on the glasses somewhere or they can get measurements from them. But eyesight changes frequently, that's why they recommend you go annually. ... Copied to Clipboard!

If it's from more than a year ago, they don't really need it. If you bring in your glasses, they'll be able to tell just from that how your eyes have changed. --- ~snip (V)_(;,;)_(V) snip~ I'm just one man! Whoa! Well, I'm a one man band! https://imgur.com/p9Xvjvs ... Copied to Clipboard!

They'll make you do an eye exam either way. If they know your old prescription they might skip over a couple of things, but the general exam will be the same regardless. It is useful for them to know how your vision has changed over time. I wouldn't worry about it.
