you never beat 7 but beat Remake and Rebirth?

Type-0 is another game I need to revisit too.

Like most people I imagine I initially bought the HD re-release on launch day, but that initial motion blur was so fucking bad that I put the game down and never actually picked it back up.

The motion blur eventually got tweaked in a patch forever ago and so I want to see if it's plot is worth experiencin' I heard its pretty sad. Sad can be good.

Heh. Thought I beat more than that.

Ones I've played but not beaten are:
4 (emulator way back in the day or at least I think I might have)
4 3D remake (got this on Steam recently; got maybe 30 mins in)
6 (emulator way back in the day for like 10 mins)
8 (tried through PS Plus for an hour; didn't like it)
9 (tried through PS Plus for a couple hours; loved it; bought Steam version; did not play it much because now I'm waiting on the remaster/remake)
10-2 (Only got a few hours in; didn't finish it since I got too concerned with needing a guide to get as much completion as possible and got frustrated with too many missables being possible)
12: TZA (made it very far into the game, but got burnt out. did not like the game at all and it was a struggle to get as far as I did. Definitely my least favorite FF BY FAR)
13-3 (I played it during a time where I was juggling a lot of games and didn't finish a lot of them. Didn't really like the time mechanic, but I was planning on going back to it at some point but never got around to it)
15 (Played for an hour or two; decided to finish other games first; want to come back to it at some point)
16 (Played the demo; absolutely did not like it; like of party members and then medieval European settings were basically a deal breaker for me; I hate medieval settings)
FF Tactics Advance (played on an emulator and like most games I emulated, didn't finish)
FF Type 0 (tried through PS Plus for the very first/tutorial mission but didn't play much after it to develop an opinion)
World of FF (I actually kinda liked it but didn't beat it...or make it too far)
Strangers of Paradise (played the demo)
Crystal Chronicles (I have this game on GameCube and even saw the case for it just a few weeks ago, but I absolute do not remember ever playing it or even receiving it; I even feel like as a kid, I wanted to rent it from BlockBuster but didn't due to finding out it was multiplayer only, but I could have been mistaken as a kid)

I'm sure there are others I've played.

Weird thing about Junon, I had two main driving factors behind why I wanted to play FF7:
-Wanting to know why Cloud winds up in a wheelchair
-Wanting to know who or wtf a Rufus was and why he got a welcoming ceremony.

4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 10-2, and 12.

I need to play 9, I hear that's good.

No interest at all in the post-12 games, sadly, but eventually I wanna get around to trying 3.

I made it a little over halfway through before just getting fed up and using the training exploit to get a few characters to 99 so I could bumrush the rest of the game. The story didn't get any better to me.

Man, this just drives my interest more. I dont mind a good train wreck of a story lol. Its like one of the only final fantasies I can think of that blatantly kills chocobos with them being a bloody mess (the one in the opening scene anyway. It was dead as hell) and so I still want to find out why that setting is so bleak.

That opening song does indeed go hard. I like bumps of chickens.
