archizzy 05/28/25 9:16:56 PM #7:	Funny enough I just rewatched the entire series about 2 months ago. Because I binge watched it over the course of like 2 weeks it felt like the plot points jumped along much faster so it felt like it was much more frantic pacing compared to when I was watching it literally once a week on Sunday night and then waiting for new seasons. That being said I still enjoy it. I really like the characters and the location. Truthfully going into it the first time I was highly skeptical because I normally don't care at all about vampire stuff but I watched it because it was Alan Ball who made the amazing Six Feet Under. I tend to highly enjoy HBO shows anyway and Six Feet Under was a favorite so I watched True Blood and was hooked in short order. I really thought the characters were great and for as much tv and movies as I watch most of the people involved I hadn't seen in much else so that helps you get into the characters even more when you don't associate them with another role. Again I thought the characters were really well done. RIP Nelsan Ellis because Lafayette was fucking gold on that show. Jason cracked me the fuck up. Tara was awesome. Seriously everyone on that cast was so well done. Show wise the only part I really didn't like it much was the shit with Bill in the authority and the stuff with Lilith. It got kind of whacky, even for that show. All in all though I still really enjoy the series overall. But when it was a little more grounded it was great. Alexander Skarsgard breakout as Eric Northman was cool.
