I'm not sure what exactly to believe with the Archer one since we're supposed to be getting materials up to level 60 and yet it's suggesting the full 65 ascension materials.

Uhhhh....could it be the universal trace materials? Every single new character I've looked at since they added it has said 24 purples.

I haven't actually levelled Castorice yet so I guess now I have the mats to get her to 80 even if I have no intention of gearing her up or levelling her traces any time soon, because resources be scarce

Huh. For me it said I had all of Archer's Ascension materials and I thought that meant it was factoring that in because I'm essential at 0 on all of them except... for... Tribbie... prefarm... oh LOL Quantum overlap that's why.

Okay, yeah, it's probably wrong on the Ascension materials (in the sense that I'm guessing it isn't factoring in whatever mats dump we get to get him to 60 - collab event rewards?)
but traces should be correct I think?

Do y'all just refuse to leave the relic mines or something because I have no problem with leveling characters and trace grinding for one character only takes a week or two.

Apparently 6-7 months is still new enough that I'm basically always on empty trying to build up characters and I'm only going to 80 and 8 on the major Traces!

I should probably get them to max/10 on my main Castorice/RMC/Hyacine trio at least but I keep jumping from project to project. After I finished getting Hyacine there it was the Tribbie prefarm, now it's a Phainon prefarm since going to 200 Tickets for Archer's LC probably means I'll put some rolls there (and I can fold his mats over to others if I end up not getting him.)

I've only ever really been in the relic mines to get my main battle party at the time (Firefly/HMC/Gallagher past, Castorice/RMC/Hyacine now) to "borderline acceptable") or when Nameless Honor/Double Rewards points me in that direction.

Looked at the leaks for the new battle pass LCs. Unsurprisingly they've actually made them all good at worst and great at best. It was always weird to me that the LCs you actually had to spend money to get mostly sucked, but I guess they figure people weren't getting the BP for the LCs anyways.

I don't have Tribbie so I don't really understand the details on how the Additional Damage works but basically...for starters True Damage is basically an extra damage multiplier so it's a 24% increase for teams that don't have any yet. But then there's something funky about how her damage distribution works so it redistributes the "wasted" damage on adds back on to the boss like how Cipher does it? So it works out to more than that.

Assuming 3 enemies and an AoE primary DPS, it's just under a 50% damage increase against the highest HP enemy according to Guoba. That goes up if there's five enemies, and goes down if the enemies die prematurely.

Which is stupid, given how OP she is at E0 already, but here we are.

Been super tuned out of HSR lately. Do I have it right that Jingliu is no longer going to care about ATK after the buff? And is Silver Wolf's build going to stay the same, or are they tweaking her EHR numbers?

Jingliu is all HP based now, no attack needed.

SW needs 67% EHR now at the absolute highest. If it's a non-Acheron Team and you don't need the 100% guaranteed bug implants, you can slap Tutorial on her and get away with no EHR substats at all. Her Ult hits everyone now, too.

Bleh. Hopefully I've got some old pieces lying around. Guess all the time spent grinding for pieces aiming for 100% EHR is now wasted though

Oh actually, looks like I lose basically the right amount of EHR by switching off of...Pan Cosmic Commercial Enterprise...and just making sure whatever I switch to doesn't have EHR substats.

Maybe this isn't so bad after all.

Finished the main story for 3.3. Definitely the best Amphoreus patch so far even if it still feels like they're holding back for next time. Feels like we're finally getting to the meat of the story though.

I admit I didn't have Unknowable Domain becoming plot relevant on my bingo card, but it's a pretty fun development. I just hope they aren't banking on me understanding or remembering anything about how these scepters work. SU lore is basically unintelligible when it comes to the details.

As someone who completely ignores the lore in SU/DU/UD I am expecting to miss something coming up. Also just a bad story move for new players who do Amphoreus first depending on whether it becomes a major plot point or how it's done.

tbf we've had SimU lore come up big in MSQ multiple times before this, between all of the stuff about the Swarm being relevant both to Firefly and to Luocha, Ena being allied with Qlipoth before being absorbed into Xipe, the interstellar trade war explaining how much the departments of the IPC hate each other, and now the Scepter in Amphoreus.

I could be biased because I did that chapter of Simulated Universe very recently, but I also think it's the most straightforwardly told story of the lot of them. It's pretty neat.

If I have one complaint about Divergent Universe it's that they removed the lore crumbs entirely. Like I guess there's Amphoreus's in-world creation myths but whatever.

I havent done the Simulated Universe since Divergent became a thing. Have I been missing rewards there too?

Herta/Jade team got embarassed by side 1. Took 6 cycles, though there was probably some user error in there resulting in an extra cycle or 2. Tried a different team for side 2 where I went double sustain Castorice with the idea of turbo charging her ultimate. I doubt it's optimal, but 3 cycles against a non-quantum weak boss certainly isn't bad. It might even be optimal when you consider that it frees up Tribbie or Remembrance MC for the other half.

My first try Castorice took 4 cycles due to extremely bad Mem timing basically wasting two turns, then Ratio took 7 so no 3*. Second time I put Cas on auto and it went a cycle faster so skill issue I guess.

Ratio and Topaz got it done a cycle faster too but still 6. And I'm ashamed to say it was due to Castorice global passive because the corrosion enemies counter Adventurine and reduced Ratio's HP enough for Hoolay to murder him through Aventurine shields. I'm now rebuilding him as full shielded but man. They're hanging on for dear life over there. 3.4 can't come fast enough

Ok actually Castorice side 1 and Feixiao side 2 ended up working a bit better. Follow-up may be a version 2 team but it's always been really well suited to exactly the Hoolay fight.

Clara is fun to. I didn't bring her to MoC, but she's been one of my favorites to take to the Hoolay fight in Divergent Universe.

Anyways, lore question because there's way too damn much to keep track of. (spoilers for 3.2, probably 3.3, and the video they just posted on the official HSR Youtube channel) The implication here seems to be that Irontomb is the Lord Ravager trapped on Amphoreus, which I suppose makes sense. But, my memory is that similarities between The Black Tide and what we knew about Irontomb were pointed out by the community for a while, but it was thought to be impossible because we knew from other lore sources (I think an Interastral Peace Broadcast?) that Irontomb was currently active elsewhere. Am I missing or mis-remembering something?

Only gave it one run but my Firefly team just fucking wiped on 12 (Hoolay side) lol. ...Before Hoolay showed up even! Would only have been on pace for 1 star I think because Castorice/Pela/Robin/Hyacine took too long on theirs and it was like 9 cycles over there so I was expecting to go over 20 total but "lol."

Might be able to tweak things but I think I'll sit at 33/36 for now and see if I can have the salty runback after getting Tribbie and, if I'm lucky, Phainon and if that changes things. Though it probably shouldn't because Tribbie should really only just make Castorice side faster and freeing up Robin doesn't help the other team and Phainon I think runs a completely different squad who I'd have to build up (got Bronya E0 and Tingyun E6 and I think he wants them but I'd have to build them up and figure out who else goes with them... Gallagher? I don't know if he wants sustain.)

Is your Firefly hogging both Trailblazer and Ruan Mei? That's rough.

From what I understand about Phainon, he only wants a sustain if he can't finish off the enemies within 1 or 2 ults and so the rest of the team is at risk of dying during downtime. Kinda feels like a catch-22, running a sustain fixes the problem when his ults are too weak but make his ults even weaker? If he does need one his best option is Huohuo who has targeted skill, ult, and energy regen plus her atk buff. And as for third supports, without Sunday or Sparkle his next best options are gonna be RMC or Robin. Robin doesn't give stacks but she advances the characters that do. (and ofc he'll get a dedicated support within a few patches)

From what I've seen, his best team is actually just three of Sunday/Bronya/Tingyun/RMC. So even if you don't have Sunday, you've got three F2P options right there for you.

Yeah I think RMC will be essential if you're without Sunday. And better than Bronya even if you do!

Yep. Castorice and Hyacine basically can hold things together on their own whereas Firefly reallys wants those two (and Gallagher but it's fine for him because Hyacine has things locked down)

My only healers are basically Hyacine, E6 GallaGOAT, and... Lynx, I guess? But she's not built because there hasn't really been a need.

No real shield characters either because LOL Gepard. (I'd totally try to pull for Aventurine if he gets a rerun but he had one early when I played and before I played 2.1 which moved to him a "okay i'd like to have him if possible" for me and none since.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah, if I get Phainon (not guaranteed. I will go for Tribbie but Phainon is probably just going to be a "get to 200 total pulls for the Archer LC adventure unless that happens to land really close to pity. I think I have just under 300 pulls right now, but I don't want to go empty because Kafka in 3.5 is someone I really want just cuz Kafka.) I could run RMC, Bronya, Tingyun but I don't want to hit the relic mines for them (well not RMC though I could def improve there) unless I do get Phainon so it's a bit of a catch-22 on building them. Traces, sure, I don't mind, but relics the worst.

The damage sheet I saw going around had Gallagher as base sustain so I think he'll be fine as usual. There's really not a good option besides Huohuo and maaaaaybe Fu Xuan? Aven isn't even good with him. FWIW people are assuming he will get a new specialized Hyacine-tier sustain if he does need one, so I wouldn't sweat it.

The 200 pulls for Archer LC thing is so rude, I'm also hoping to luck out on Phainon. But worse case scenario if I lose 50/50s on Sunday and him, I won't have enough without risking Hysliens. Cerydra is probably out of the question then so idk what I'll do.

So far Ive felt unsuccessful in finding a team for Cipher with what I have, but Im still gonna make something work

Cipher works as a debuffer for just about any Crit DPS team, she's just better with the teams that want those rapid attacks and debuffs as part of the rotation.

Saber all Traces and ascension mats
Archer all ascension and almost all Traces

Relics still need to get after Traces are done.

What's the new EHR Kafka is going to need? Saw someone say she needed more than before but couldn't find the specific number.
