Morrowind, when it came out, was such a cool, immersive experience, and a huge leap from Daggerfall. Skyrim is great, but Oblivion is more funny than anything. Golf Story I think just barely counts, a unique combination of genres; Black Gate was the best old-school Ultima and maybe the first WRPG I ever played, and Baldur's Gate 3 seems like the best modern example. --- azuarc wasn't even home. he was playing Magic the Gathering at his buddy's store, which is extremely easy to verify <cite>jcgamer107 posted [p:984992761] in The Mount ...
