Board 8 > Save My Favorite Final Fantasy Characters XXVII: Day 22 [smfffc]

I only did it the last 4 years of it and the final years were mostly the Discord years (of which I fully benefited from no doubt about that) so my viewing might not be a great overview but I thought it was fun for what it was. But of course some people take things seriously like everything else, and it was getting to a point that it needed to retire eventually I think.

Also I think everything I have ever done on board 8 makes more sense with the context of I have severe adhd and I am autistic as fuck so I hyper focus and hyper fixate on things naturally.

Give me a goal and it's my new favorite thing for like 6 months lmao.

I was chronically online and affable and somehow I did okay, it was dumb fun for what it was

Funnily enough the people who cared the most (like icehawk) never really did

It always gave a little joy to see some user I never really interacted with give me + points, like I guess I must be contributing something positive to their board experience (or they just hated everyone else in the division, but I'm an optimist)

Although thinking about it now I can see how getting a bunch of -3s might sting for some people, so that aspect maybe wasn't the best

This is it, yeah. The tiny bits I do recall, they mesh with -3s being taken poorly. Many of us were young, too. That had to sting. So long as it wasnt taken too seriously, I reckon it would generally be okay. I can imagine my younger self seeing strings of -3s and being sad!

(The few times I actually showed up for any of it, I did OK, I think. FFD used the right word for it. Affable. lol)
