I think round is the older style (70's - 80's), I have two of them in the bathrooms I haven't remodeled yet. The one that I redid has an oval one. Took a while to get used to it to be honest. --- I feel like I need to put something here, or else I am one of those weird people who think that having no signature is a character trait. ... ConfusedTorchic posted... visual aides are needed it's those really low toilet bowls with a wide mouth so there's no shallow end to poop/pee quietly . these things are terrible for people who aren't very flexible or want to avoid splashing their behinds when they have a bowel movement. since they are so low you will get a lot of splash when you pee standing up. --- *flops* ... My house is over 100 years old and the bathroom is literally a converted closet, so I must have a short, round toilet. There's just no room for an oval one. You can find the round toilets easily enough, though the selection is smaller than for ovals (a quick search of Home Depot's website has 575 hits for round, 2175 for elongated). --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ...
