In court, accusations must be proved beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury because the defendant's freedom is at stake. The New Zealand police spoke to Palmer, got a denial and went "ALL GOOD HERE THEN." Almost like an attempt to go to the authorities failed. Which is why an excellent team of journalists investigated this! The idea this was "TRIAL BY SOCIAL MEDIA" is fucking trash. I've seen shitty attempts at social media callouts, this wasn't it. This was months of rigorous investigation. Interviewing multiple people, looking at text messages, history of allegations, a lengthy pattern of behavior, payoffs and more. So kindly cut the shit. Gaiman paid forr a woman's therapy to make up for what he did to her. He said it himself in texts. Gaiman, by his own admission, got naked in a bathtub with a nanny like 1/3 his age on her first day at his home. A woman wholly dependent on him and his wife for employment, money, shelter, and food. A woman he and Amanda Palmer DID NOT PAY for months. Neil Gaiman had a sexual relationship with a woman he held the power of eviction over. He later evicted her and pressed her into an NDA. I am not even going to entertain this bullshit.
