So to clarify, they aren't trying to pretend that he literally has "MS 13" on his knuckles. They're saying that each of the tattoos on his fingers, "secretly mean MS 13" because Marijuana starts with an M, Smiley face starts with an S and the cross and skull are somehow 1 and 3.

They're doing everything in their power to paint him as some kind of villain. Just like the "he beats his wife" bullshit. But an actual statement from his wife reads:

I believe the claim is that the cross and skull are cover ups of older 1 & 3 tattoos. Which could be reasonable for the one, but I don't really see how you could turn a three into that skull.
