Yeah it's 3. It should probably be 4. I'll eat the whole thing in one sitting if I'm not careful.

A pint of good ice cream is enough for 3-4 people or 2 people twice.

So for one person it would be 3 or 4 times. Probably 4 for me.

I'll just say what it should be and what it will be are two different things.

I cut it in half through the top and eat half at a time, perfect size for 1.

Halo Top pints are low calorie enough that theres no reason not to eat them as one serving.

Is that a medium tub?
I think a medium tub of B&J would be like 4-5 servings on average though I think I've probably eaten it in one go at least once.

2 and a half, or four if the tub is used with alcohol for reasons.

It's definitely at least 4, more likely 5-6 for me.

I knew Halo Top would rear its ugly head in here at some point. I'd rather have no ice cream at all than that nasty stuff.

If I'm eating it straight from the container more often than not it's gonna be one serving. 2 at most. It's part of the reason I don't get ice cream all that often.

1-2, depending on my mood

I get like 10 most of the time. I'm mostly eating to distract myself from going to bed hungry, rather than trying to get a "meal" out of it. Pull it out, eat enough off the top to remove the old surface, and put it back.

I visited a friend one time, who asked after dinner if I'd like ice cream. I didn't especially, but I figured why not. He proceeds to bring out two cereal bowls heaping full of ice cream, and I'm just like...dude? Seriously?

How much is an acceptable amount to eat and how much I would actually eat in one sitting are two different answers.

4+ for me. I generally pull the pint out, take two or three spoonfuls then put it back. If its a quart Ill be more likely to make a bowl.

Usually 2. If I scoop it out of the container into a bowl it's 3. If I eat directly from the container it's 2. If it's Halo Top it's 1, though I haven't had that in quite a long while.

Not really sure. I'm not much of an ice cream eater, but other people I live with are. We only buy containers that are 3+ pints and I will have maybe 2 servings from it at most. Hard to tell if I'm getting 1/9th or 1/12th of it or whatever.

It's always been two servings for me. I have half once, half another time, or split it with somebody.

I don't believe ice cream comes in quarts - the next size up is usually 1.5 quarts. And that's six helpings for me.

I guess 1.5 quarts is one of the sizes, yeah. Pint, 1.5 quart, and half gallon.

Definitely not. It's the little cylindrical one that Halo Top says is 300 calories right?

You can definitely eat it in 2 sittings but it should be 4, 3 minimum.

That's what I'm saying. I can only imagine they are thinking of those 1.5 quart (thank you for the correction) tubs where, yeah, you can easily get 6 or so from that. How, as an adult, can you get 4-6 from a pint? Do you just scoop out two little tiny scoops and have a little palate-cleanser dessert?

Shit, sometimes the "pint" for some of the ice cream companies (looking at you Haagen Dazs) is just 14 ounces. Guess which I stopped buying unless it's on super sale.

US pint? 2. Imperial pint? That's enough of an increase to bump it up to 3.

Yes, so it's around 6-8 servings for me. But a regular adult could reasonably have 1/4th of it and I wouldn't judge them.

Honestly is the 20th bite of ice cream really that much better than the 3rd?

That's my policy for all the premium brands of ice cream. Helps that there are often good store-brand varieties.

I rarely buy myself ice cream but I think it would be 2 for me, half now half later

I get where youre coming from. There was a long period of time, when I was younger, where Id eat a pint in a sitting. Or at least half. Id have scoffed at someone suggesting lesser amount.

But somewhere along the way I gradually got down to a couple spoonfuls and thats it, sweet tooth satiated. 4 servings or so from a pint now.

but yeah ice cream is an absolute vice for me and I enjoy the 10th spoonful as much as the 3rd 20 is a bit excessive for even me though ;)

I get why people could enjoy a couple bites, though. Same concept as the mint chocolate candies they serve at Olive Garden, or at least used to (I havent been in many years)
