Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Steam Deck starts really cutting into MS/Sony sales in the next year or two. Neither console has enough exclusives to compete with a system that has 90% of their libraries, and more anyways, that is also portable. Nintendo's 1st parties will always keep them as relevant purchase. So basically, PC + Nintendo.

Same as it ever was.

I remember I made a poll on the switch board for the new name.

Was supposed to be a fun poll using past Nintendo naming schemes but they modded for trolling.

Someone did a poll here too, saying Switch 2 was a stupid name, shortly before Nintendo announced that was officially the name.

Because within a month of it coming out you'll switch 2 an emulator on a gaming PC to play the same games at higher framerate and resolution.

I know 3 people that only owned the switch get a steamdeck for christmas 2024.
