Duskbloods sounds sick as hell. I like that multiplayer concept more than Nightrein.

But all Souls multiplayer is incredibly fun, so I would give them all a shot.

I mean the big problem with Duskbloods I have is relying on Nintendo's online to function even somewhat decently, a feat they have yet to prove themselves capable of.

Really? I haven't heard complaints about it in third party games. Which ones does it work poorly in?

Ive never heard of problems with anything other than Smash. In fact the NSO Classics multiplayer is really good, uses rollback netcode even

Pokemon SV online is terrible. Link battles will disconnect for no reason which is a disaster for competitive play.

I don't play any Nintendo games online, but the eShop is an absolute disaster and runs like garbage. Don't know if that's an issue with their online or with the hardware, or a little of both.

Oh yeah Raid Battles were absolute shit, so bad that I think my brain tried to erase my memory of them

There was one feature I didn't consider earlier as a possibility to be added to Scarlet/Violet that would be far more likely to be patched in on Switch 2 - the GameChat feature. That would at least be somewhat useful in raids.

If anyone has any lag in classic Mario Party, it quite literally lags the entire game at render for everyone. Like the game stutters and the music is distorted. It's insanely bad.

The online on Switch has been mostly good to me but the N64 games always have janky sound

Thanks for clarifying. I was really confused about that while responding to something else.

But putting aside I don't know what online 3rd party games people are even playing on Switch these days (are we just talking Fortnite here?), are we really pretending From has a great track record here either?
