Not outright murder, just cause death through willful neglect and carelessness.

I have an aunt who recently got divorced because her husband assaulted her. I always hated him.

My maternal uncle spent most of his time loudly bemoaning the freeloaders suckling off the government.

My uncle also spent his entire adult life following his parents around the country living for free and killed himself less than a week after my last maternal grandparent died.

My mom got to be the one who found her dead brother while she was handling all the shit to deal with her dead father, which was not the best moment of her life.

It's an entire sheet of free spaces, so not really.

Got a few crazies in my family for sure but nothing to the level that they gave me the impression of being capable of something like this.

Maybe not that extreme, but I do have an uncle with a very explosive temper. He was supposed to be going to court for an assault charge. In 2019 he got into an argument with some guy and fists started flying. Covid put that on hold, but they're going to catch up to his case eventually

Suicide wouldn't surprise me in a few cases, but murder definitely not. Even the biggest asshole amongst them isn't unstable enough to go full family annihilation.

I come from a long line of the mentally unstable, gleeful torturers, and unrepentant murderers on both sides of the family. At 13, my grandpappy shot his sister and shoved her into a grain thresher, still alive, because she caught him smoking and threatened to tell their mother. He got away with it because any investigation was brief and perfunctory in those days.

I have no idea how many people my father killed as a Green Beret and interrogation specialist in Vietnam or as an enforcer for the Outlaws biker gang after he mustered out of the Army.

My surname is met with derision or rage in certain parts of the country.

I'm the most stable person in the family tree.

I will not have biological children.

So, I can see pretty much anything happening in my family. War crimes ain't off the table.
