I'm beginning to to wonder how Omniman could take over Earth, if it was even possible, with such powerful beings running around. Over twice as powerful as he was last season and giant centipedes and extra dimensional dragons still walk all over him.

Multi-Paul is so good with his powers. Far better than Kate. Not only does he make far more copies but he uses them as leverage while duplicating. I don't recall Kate ever doing that. Most she does is just dogpile someone. I still wonder if that's a limitation she puts on herself or if her powers are just not as strong. Hard to believe they had the same training.

Yeah the problem is we don't know how much the power can range among the strongest to weakest but still allowed to live Viltrumites are. The ones Mark fought could have been bottom rung for all we know, and no definitive answer to where Omniman falls on it.

That's fair but it's getting really old seeing Invincible get his ass beat by everybody.

On the other hand, Rex and Rae are great. One of them is definitely gonna die.

I think it shows that both Eve and Mark are desperate for a romantic relationship that feels right and makes sense. It is VERY young adult to find that person and rush into it so fast when it feels right, for both to want to placate the other.

I think it is written well honestly, like young people in love. Also makes sense for their profession in that they could face life or death issues at any second. Why waste time you may not have?

The entire series of Invincible is just an endless stream of life holding Mark down while Kirkman kicks him in the teeth and/or crotch.

Like, he damn near started his superhero career finding out his father is a Kryptonazi from Planet Kryptonazi and then his father murdered thousands of people with Mark's face as the murder weapon.

And, like, those were the good days, it only got worse from there.

If you want to see a series where good things happen to the protagonist, you're watching the wrong series.

What was the point of them giving him that anime ass power boost if he still gets his ass kicked by the twins?

I'm the only one who thinks the side characters story or more interesting than Mark's.

I thought it was pretty clear that Mark's problem is he's holding back because he accidentally murdered a dude, not so much that he couldn't atomize the Mauler Twins if he wanted.

Remember in the first episode when he said to Rex when fighting the twins he basically had to fight with a hand tied behind his back, and Rex already had his guy down while Mark's fight was him trying to make sure he wouldn't accidentally turn the guy into a stain on the floor?

Mark's all fucked up right now and trying to keep from accidentally turning people's inside skeleton into their outside powder. Again.

Like, of course Oliver killed them easily, Oliver doesn't give a fuck about the sanctity of life. It's like the difference between having Superman show up when you're mugging someone and Zod. One of them is more interested in you walking away, the other one is just going to erase you, and that colors how they'd fight.

There's a difference between killing them in one punch and being able to knock them out.

Mark was also distracted by Oliver's presence and he did get zapped by the nerve gun.

They aren't having him job for no reason, they do usually justify it.

At his level? Not really, the comparative levels of force are much different than it would be for some dude.

He could shatter their entire torso with, like, a half-hearted jab, and he's not exactly highly-trained.
