i think this is about where i am. like obviously 3 dialed it up but the silliness has kind of always been there in Spider-Man and that makes that transition easier.

when i saw spider-man 3 at the theater and the dance scene came on, i laughed for like 10 minutes straight. one of the reasons why that movie isn't a 0/10.

It was just too ahead of its time

3 has good memes, but the thing I absolutely can't stand about it, is that they tried to retroactively rewrite #1 so that Sandman killed Uncle Ben. That was such an important plot point, that the robber who Peter let go killed him. Still annoys me to this day.

The showing I was at, when Peter smacks MJ at the bar(?), there were some gasps & stunned silence......then a guy from the very back of the theater yelled "HIT HER AGAIN!"
