If it's 2/4 Rainbow Road and the best one isn't even included (3DS), I'm gonna be even more upset.

i mean i didn't nominate it but it's the best rainbow road by far imo

I think DD's RR has the best music, at least.

I love how DD's RR plays with how heavy the game feels. In probably the hardest Mario Kart to make 90 degree turns in and no ability to hop in your kart, it starts with multiple 180's and then a massive corkscrew. It is outright mean given how limited your flexibility with lines is in DD and how big the Bowser Shell and Giant Banana are. It or Super Circuit is definitely the meanest RR, and that gets it some points!

I'm soooooo nostalgic for MK64 and even I think this is ridiculous

Mount Wario 16-13 Rainbow Road (3DS)

It was tight for most of the day, but Wario was never behind and pulled away at the end. Mario Kart 7 originals exit the tournament here, and Mt Wario will have to defeat another segmented Rainbow Road if it wants to reach the final.

At least it lost to a beast like Mt. Wario. Ninja Hideaway lost to Koopa Cape, a pretty average track lol

Yoshi's Island 15-14 Maple Treeway

It couldn't have been tighter between these two! Multiple lead changes and users expressing how difficult it was to choose between them. Maple Treeway scores the same number of points as Yoshi's first 3 opponents combined, but it isn't quite enough and MKWii's Star Cup loses both its remaining entrants in the QFs. But Wii still has two tracks left, and they're fighting it out today!

Damn, now all my hopes rest on QF4 winner but if Yoshi's Island could beat Maple Treeway I don't see why it couldn't beat two lesser (imo) wii tracks, damn...

At least it's best of the Tour-or-8D-exclusive booster tracks

....also just pulled up the BCP wiki and funnily enough both participants in QF3 and QF4 are the 4th tracks in their respective cups. Neat.

Coconut Mall 8-15 Rainbow Road (Wii)

A straightforward match to finish off the round, Coconut Mall avoids the doubling but still gets Rainbow Roaded. Tick-Tock Clock actually performed better!

Two MK8 tracks, and two Rainbow Roads. Maybe not the most varied group, but here we are! MKWii had a bad round, but it and the ever divisive RR64 are still in contention.

Mount Wario and N64 Rainbow Road are also apparently the 4th tracks in their cups, as was 3DS Rainbow Road?!?! Don't have time to fire up my Switch to confirm so I'm hoping this wiki page isn't steering me wrong, that 7/8 of the quarterfinalists were the final track in their respective cups.... Koopa Cape never stood a chance.

Mount Wario is the champion of the segmented tracks! MK64's divisive final track finally bows out, and Wario heads to the final. Will he be joined by a fellow 8 original, or will he have to face down a third Rainbow Road?

A little surprised RR Wii prevailed where Maple Treeway didn't, I thought the latter was favored in the MK community? All great tracks regardless, good finals

I find it very fitting than when searching for images of Mount Wario this was one of the suggestions.
