I think this is only the 3rd time I've ever seen this episode, and I forgot how ridiculous and funny it was

the time loop was episode 100, another great one.

and he only took one loop off!

episode 200 is when the writers thought they were gonna get canceled and they just seemed to do whatever they wanted.

Episode 100 was the second Martin episode, Wormhole X-treme. Window of Opportunity was a season earlier.

I remember watching some episodes with my uncle, he was super into it, and I only just saw the movie the first time a few years ago. Is the show *really* worth getting into? tbf I haven't even watched any Star Trek series in their entirety -_-

the show is a lot different from the movie. it doesn't take itself as seriously. I watched it on TV when I was a kid and loved it but that was back when only the first 2-3 seasons were out. It's worth checking out if you can watch the first ep. The premise stays basically the same but the special effects get a lot better

like, when I say this episode is ridiculous there's literally a segment where all the characters are puppets like in Team America

I'd watch 1000 episodes of Teal'c, PI.

Wormhole X-treme is easily least favorite SG-1 episode.

It's the one where a Hollywood writer goes to Stargate Command for help with his Wormhole X-treme movie script. They do parodies of Wizard of Oz, Star Trek, Farscape, the zombie genre, and supermarionation.

I do need to rewatch this show AND Farscape sometime in the near future. It's been waaaay too long for both of them.

lol the plant people one has to be the worst

I didn't hate the clip episodes cause they at least have a decent amount of background drama stuff. even when it was all clips I just watched a week before

My brother watched the show a lot through Syfy channel reruns before I got into it. The first two times he tried to get me to watch were (unintentionally) that episode and The Light. It's a miracle I ever got into the show at all.

Me, too, but I know a lot of people aren't so kind. One of my favorite moments in the whole run is (Supreme Commander) Thor punking Kinsey near the end of the video linked a few posts back, which came from one of the later clip shows.

As far as clip shows goes, i think Stargate has some of the better ones, as they are still plot relevant.
Like the very first one ends with the SGC possibly getting shutdown and SG-1 going rogue temporarily.
