There's was a really cute Middle Eastern girl in my freshman college Philosophy class that I always wanted to talk to but never did.

This was in 2011. Just thought about it today. Kinda wish I at least got her number out social media even in a friendly way because she seemed cool and friendly. She would smile at me someone's too

To the cute girl at the grocery store on 4th and Main this weekend, we were in the adult diaper isle. You smiled at me. Let me know the color of my shirt I was wearing so I know it's you.

Several cute girls in my high school and a couple in university who had their friends tell me they were interested in me. I was always too shy and introverted to act on it. I even began to feel uncomfortable with them after that and would distance myself from them.

I sometimes wonder what might have been if I had acted on any of these.

In no certain order:

Met a woman at a college party who told me it was too loud inside. I agreed and talked about how important hearing protection is for loud events. She ended the conversation.

Someone in one of my acting classes basically sat on my shoulder and wrapped herself around me like a scarf. I did not react.

I was talking to another woman at another college party and literally just sat down, she started giving me a lap dance. I did not try to get her contact info.

I'm honestly amazed I've managed to have sex.

elementary school there was this super nerdy girl that people made fun of all the time, but honestly she was really cute just not in the "in" crowd. I worked up the courage to ask her number before summer break but never did call her.

There was another girl like that in high school but I never had the courage to ask her for anything. I *did* end up dating a girl that had a crush on *me* a couple years after graduation but that relationship went south so friggin' hard.

Oh and there was this cute nerdy mousy girl that worked at Best Buy when I was single during the X360 era and she would comment on games that I would buy and I always wanted to ask her out. Actually my friend drove me there (I didn't have a license or car by that point) to ask her out but she wasn't working that shift and I never saw her again

I pretty much missed all the signals or fucked up all intimacy so far. Sucks

Oh I've had plenty. I used to dwell on what could have been, like the girls who were clearly interested in me in high school. But I'm happy where I am in life now and there's no telling how things would have changed had I not missed those connections.
