It is possible that its an empty threat, so Trump can force whatever leader's he wants into an immediate meeting, than Trump can just say whatever happened and its a victory.

Because Trump is exactly the kind of idiot that will blow the entire global economy up just cuz, and that sort of ironically gives him literally all the leverage in this situation.

Trump has a card he can pull out literal any time as often as he wants because he controls the world economy to get a free W. But if he ever actually pulls the trigger on it, the impending recession will basically kill the USA as the economic powerhouse it is, forever. And he (and now the entire US government) is stupid enough to do it anyways. Which means every other main country for the next bit needs to capitulate to whatever he demands.

You can get pretty good mini pcs for cheap on amazon. You can get models than run newer games and they dont come with all the bloatware that you usually get.

As long as you import the product yourself and keep the value of the goods, not including shipping, under 800usd you can avoid duties under sec 321 de minimus.

So if like you buy a computer part from a Chinese website for 400 you can avoid the duty instead of buying it locally where they might have the duty added to it.

Some things like sunglasses, which are medical devices, are not allowed sec 321 though.

So there are ways around the tariffs as a consumer unless they mess with the sec 321 value.

I'm thinking of buying a new bike now instead of waiting until Spring when I need it. I want an E bike and I know I can get one decent online but I don't like the idea of buying a bike I haven't seen in person.

These are really user friendly. I actually got one for my parents for Christmas with a drive full of awesome stuff and they have been having a great time with it. You might need something more demanding, but I like the price point.
