Welp... this sucks. How disappointing. It's just basically a wheatie that has a bit of meh-tasting chocolate inside it.

I can't see how this is better than cocoa puffs.

imo any cereal other than kix or rice chex is a waste of time tbh

Yeah chocolate Krave was really meh. I barely tasted the chocolate so I didn't see the point.

I actually did try Rice Krispies Treats Cereal and it was not half bad. But I'd rather just have Rice Krispies Treats themselves since they're so delicious, they're probably my favorite snack of all time.

Always wanted to try count chocula but at this point I feel like that ship may have passed.

It was a treat whenever those were available on deployment. I'd take a little thing of cereal for most my days because I couldn't get to warm food. And I was a heathen I ate my cereal dry.

Count Chocula is seasonal now (in Canada anyway) we get it around Halloween and I always buy a bunch of boxes to enjoy throughout the year.

Im not big on cereal anymore, but I do enjoy Chex every once in a while. Honey nut and chocolate and cinnamon are all good depending on the mood.

Chocolate one is okay, but the brownie one is just too sweet/heavy for a cereal.

I usually do 1/2 bowl of Fibre one for the fiber , than 1/3 to 1/2 bowl of something less healthy, like Sugar Crisp or Fruit Loops. The fibre is important to me but it has no flavor or taste, so I have to mix it in with something otherwise I feel like ( and it even looks like) I am eating Animal Food.

They ruined Rice Krispies Treats cereal 5 years ago. Now it's just Rice Krispies with awful little marshmallows in it.

That's so unfortunate, it's not available here anymore so I had no idea. Classic Rice Krispies Treats Cereal was my preferred way to shred my mouth.

It used to have much more in it. Shrinkflation must have got to it.

GOAT cereals are Apple Jacks, Frosted Flakes, and Cocoa Pebbles. But I like to let it sit and soak in the milk, so after Im done eating it, I have flavored milk left over.

Magic Spoon has delicious cereal with zero sugar (particularly the frosted flavor), but its too expensive for me to justify, particularly since I dont eat in the mornings anyway.

That sucks. I tried it 7 years ago, I'm glad I was able to try the real thing at least once before they changed it.

I love Cracklin Oat Bran, but it's so pricy.

I had to stop buying the stuff because I'd eat the whole box in two days.

When I want a chocolate cereal, I take a bowl of rice Chex and add 1/2 cup of Nesquik

I'm willing to bet that's what happened, because I used to see it on shelves for years but never tried it, and then in the last few years it completely disappeared almost like it had been discontinued. Now all of a sudden it's back but it must have a different assembly/production cycle and ingredients most likely.

I haven't had special k in like 10 years when I used to visit my sister, but it's one of those cereals where it's evening and you're so hungry for a snack that you eat a bowl. I'd never buy the stuff but find myself eating it when available and feeling snacky

I like Special K, you just need to add some fruit or berries to it

Cereal overall has degraded in quality. Reeses Puffs and Cinnamon Toast crunch taste off now, so I opt for Special K or Raisin Bran Krunch.

I don't like puffs. Rice chex have my favorite texture

In Japan we only have like, three cereals. Frosted Flakes, different variations on granola cereal, and some cardboard coco rice crispy things.

At one point we had some Hersheys variant of Krave which was legit good but its been gone for years.

I think most American cereal cant pass health regulations here.

Fwiw virtually all big box cereals are pure cheeks post-pandemic. Huge dive in quality of ingredients and freshness, across the board.

Then I'm surprised Hersheys of all things passed health regulations over general mills, Kelloggs, Post, or even Nestl.

I definitely believe it, but also think this applies to a ton of products. The things that were good either shut down, or returned in poorer quality.
