I use my 80cm (32 inch) HDTV as both and have for many years, it's literally the one and only perfect size

sadly it's hard to find HDTVs this size that also have the good features I want, and need, while also don't have a bunch of awful "features" I hate and refuse to support

nope, mine is awesome. anything smaller especially at 1440p would need a magnifying glass to read anything.

I'm playing Shenmue 2 and in the electionics shops you can see little like 4~6" TVs; I remember those! they were so cool

I have dual 32" monitors close up, the only thing I'd change is swapping the lesser 32" for 2 15.6" vertically to be wings of the main. I have a video fullscreen while I play games.
